neilspen 02-12-2010 8:26 AM

Cliff,

I live pretty close to Arlington. What is the name of your retaurant?

depoint50ae 02-12-2010 8:30 AM

Snow is completely worthless unless it is on a mountain and I am snowboarding.

I have to fly through DFW today and I hope I am not screwed!

flackpack 02-12-2010 8:52 AM

111 years of weather records were shattered at DFW Airport. PRevious records were 7.4 inches for 24 hours of snow. Yesterday - 11.8 inches!

kentharmon 02-12-2010 9:25 AM

Congrats guys! Snows a blast when you never have it. You can come take some of ours whenever you want up here in UT. Im sick of it. haha!

tings00 02-12-2010 9:42 AM

I am enjoying this years winter in UTAH (salt lake county). Lots of snow in the mountains, very little in valleys. Havent had to clear the walk in at least a month now.

kentharmon 02-12-2010 9:47 AM

Im up here in Logan, We still have a foot and some on the ground. I would love what you SLC guys have right now

downfortheride 02-12-2010 10:08 AM

Tings ~~ Always liked your profile pic with what looks like a huge HS Backroll. All the snow is gone in my yard and I love it.
Kent ~~ You can keep your snow just send some of the melt out way...

CONGRATS TX!

02-12-2010 10:20 AM

OK... Stanfield - tell me about your fence - are your cross members metal too or is that just an optical illusion?

I have metal poles but always thought - why not make the whole skeleton out of steel.

guido 02-12-2010 10:48 AM

Craziness....

bac 02-12-2010 10:54 AM

I can't believe how much Dallas got! We got a little this morning on the north side of Houston but nothing even close to that.

It was snowing in Baton Rouge earlier this morning when I was watching the news.

tings00 02-12-2010 11:12 AM

Thanks Josh. It is actually an out of control raley attempt that sent the board over my head. The picture turned out great though. Everyone thinks it is a shop job, but it is the real thing.

stanfield 02-12-2010 12:05 PM

Cross members are wood, I think its just the snow on top of them that is making them look funny.

02-12-2010 12:19 PM

I would like to thank Dallas for sending their snow to Alabama! Jib sesh on campus later

Sorry to hear that Cliff, do you have any kind of insurance to help with your losses or can you get some help from the Power company?

ord27 02-13-2010 7:13 PM

thanks Jeff. I do have insurance that will cover the cost of lost sales. But, they are arguing that it was an act of God, which is not covered.
My meat and produce guys are working with me to cover a lot of the loses.....

we served over 600 people tonight from 5 to 9. it was nice to see my staff make some good money!

sorry for the hi jack Big D

all things considered, it was nice playing in the snow with my kids!

stroh 02-16-2010 7:17 AM

Wow Cliff. What isn't "an act of god"? I hope you come out ok.
