Quikfin?

Came across this today on kickstarter... Very interesting concept that solves a lot of problems I have. However, I don't know that I can justify $45 to get into the product. I don't foresee it costing that much at retail, although who knows in this industry. The company is asking for $70,000 which seems rather steep to me.. The page is very detailed about the product except for where they explain the distribution of the funds.. It's not very transparent.

Anybody else find this interesting?

Thank you for posting this on Wake World. Our kickstarter did not not fund but our business did. There are significant costs in tooling and manufacturing.

We do not intend to sell this product out of the back of a van at your local beach.

We are meeting with wakeboard companies as we speak to discuss licencing agreements. This is not a good product to have on the shelf either, with different board tolerances and variety of hardware we feel this product should be included from the board design through to the end user.

For breaking news you can follow us on Instagram, Facebook & Twitter.

Thank you.
Respect
