Hey I am a new rider, actually just went out for the first time this past weekend. Finally got up after NUMEROUS FALLS LOL, but it was so much fun. I am looking for some riders who may ride at Cherokee Lake in TN. Can't wait to get out there again and start to learn some things!!!

preacherman 08-21-2006 8:30 PM

Here's a pic of the first time I actually got up and rode for some time!!!

dluttr 08-30-2006 6:38 AM

Hey Brad, we ride on Cherokee lake almost every Sunday. We'll be out there Labor Day weekend weather permitting. Look for a tan/white Malibu Sunsetter with wakeboard tower/speakers. We usually launch at Quarryville boat ramp (near Mooresburg), and ride in and around Poor Valley Creek. Hope to see you out there!

famlyboader 08-30-2006 7:42 PM

marvin 08-31-2006 5:22 PM

Great news Brad!!!! We ride Cherokee lake also. What part of the lake do you guys use? We usually stay in the German Creek area, although we have started to go up to Quarryville(hey David) and ride. It is nice, there are a lot of wind blocks there so the water is good most times. Like Rodney said look us up sometime if you are ever our way. Hey Rod what is a boader??

cbk 08-31-2006 7:07 PM

Hey man! We are in Kingsport TN and ride pretty much anywhere....Hit us up!

dluttr 09-01-2006 5:29 AM

Hey Marvin. I hope to see you and the crew on Cherokee Lake sometime this Labor Day weekend.

Hey Nate, was that you we saw on Cherokee lake a few weeks ago, in the orange Wakestock Centurian? You need to visit Cherokee more often.

Hope everyone has a great and safe Labor Day weekend. Have fun!

cbk 09-01-2006 6:46 AM

It was prob. one of our customers. He has an 06 Boardstock. We are usually in an orange Avalanche or a white Typhoon.

marvin 09-01-2006 4:27 PM

Hey David, we may get up there some this weekend but it will probably be for some early morning sets. We have friends coming in from college and they will be in the German Creek area. Is your son tearing it up since coming back from Murray's?

Nate do you guys ever make it down our way? It is a good place to ride and for the most part not a lot of traffic. ssshhhh. After this weekend, the lake will be mostly us and a few fisherman.

I hope everyone has the best weekend ever!!!! May we all land the biggest thing we throw.
Be safe, watch for the crazies!!!!

cbk 09-02-2006 7:30 AM

Marvin, We have never been to Cherokee but David (dluttr) stopped by our shop the other day and filled us in on the goods. We are usually at a certain spot on South Holston Lake...thats where we all grew up and just are kind of attached, but we are planning to check out Cherokee in the next week or two..probably during the week sometime.

marvin 09-02-2006 12:28 PM

Hey Nate, I understand about being attached to a spot, we are the same way. Until this year, I never went anywhere else. I had been looking at the spot where David rides at for years saying "man we need to get up here." One day the water was nasty so we went up to Quarryville and I was impressed. I hope to make a trip to lake Norris this year. It is a beautiful lake.

We have just gotten back from riding this morning and I am sooo proud of everyone, they all rode so good! I hope you guys are having a great weekend and look forward to talking to you guys later.

preacherman 09-02-2006 8:14 PM

Hey guys, sorry it took so long for me to get back with you guys, but I appreciate you posting. I usually leave out from the Gilmore Dock. I am familiar with German Creek, but the lake is still a little new to me. I am actually using my father-n-laws jetski right now to pull me for learning. I hope to get me a boat next spring. I possibly may be up that way on Labor Day, but not sure yet.

marvin 09-02-2006 8:49 PM

ANYTIME you want a tug just yell at us, Rod and I usually have both boats out and would be more than happy to pull you until your arms fall off. We usually ride until late November so anytime you are in the area let us know!

boardchic12 09-03-2006 8:26 AM

Hey guys! Marv and Rod told me I need to post,and I am proud to be the first female rider to join the discussion board. Hope to meet everyone I don't already know on the Lake! Hey Rod, need Keyboarding lessons?? I can hook u up w/ a real hott teacher, lol.}

cbk 09-03-2006 11:01 AM

Brad if you need a pull sometime just let us know.

preacherman 09-03-2006 11:55 AM

Hey I appreciate it so much. I hope to be headed down to the lake next weekend, should be the weekend of the 9-11th. I am the only one in my family that wakeboards at this time and I am just getting started, so would be great to get with some people who have been doing it a while. Maybe can show me some things. I hope to have my wife and son doing it by next year. I am from Wise VA about an hour from Kingsport. Takes me about 2 hours to get to Cherokee. Hey Team CBK, are you the one that ownes the shop on Stone Drive???

cbk 09-03-2006 6:21 PM

Yea Brad thats us, you should stop in sometime and give us a shout.

preacherman 09-03-2006 7:35 PM

I will stop by sometime. I am over in Kingsport quite often. Looked at some of the boats on your website that you have for sale. I will have to come over and check them out. I am in the market.

dluttr 09-03-2006 8:25 PM

Hey Marvin, we had a good time on the lake today (Sunday), even though I bent my prop near shore. The lake is going down so fast that it's easy to do, unfortunately. I carry a spare and changed it when I got home. I should be out again next Sunday.

marvin 09-03-2006 8:41 PM

Sorry about the prop David. That is one of the reasons I stay around German Creek, because I know it so well. Like Nate said about South Holston we kind of grew up in this area and I know it real well. The lake rising and falling is one of the rough things about Cherokee.

I am glad you guys had a good time. We met up with a lot of people we have not saw in a while. It was great to see them back out on the water.

Is it real shallow going back to the bridge there at Poor Valley? I would like to ride up there some of the evenings after work. Time will be changing to soon and we will need to take some evening runs.

Hey Brad, let us know for sure if you are coming down next weekend.

preacherman 09-04-2006 11:24 AM

Unless something changes I will defintley be down this weekend. I am so glad that I found some people that ride at cherokee. Being a beginner it is hard to get some help without knowing anyone who can help you. I look forward to meeting up with you guys.

dluttr 09-04-2006 11:51 AM

Hey Marvin, we stayed on the main channel Sunday, so I didn't venture near Poor Valley. We rode between Quarryville & Fall Creek most of the time. I know the water is getting low at Poor Valley, so be careful if you try it.

I'll ride up toward German Creek, if everything goes as plans next Sunday. Maybe we'll see everyone.

Brandon is doing great since Murray's Boarding school. He wants to get the Back roll down. Until then, he's getting plenty of air jumping W2W.

Have a great week!

cbk 09-04-2006 3:59 PM

Hey guys, I hope everyone's weekend went well. I know the weather was a bit up and down. We decided to hit it full force and in between storms we just chilled on Pat's trusty ole houseboat. The only good thing about the weather is it kept most of the people off of the lake. Our cove was glass for most of the weekend. You guys really need to check out SOHO (South Holston) when you get a chance. I will be glad to host if we get another nice weekend.

marvin 09-04-2006 6:03 PM

David, was it real crowed up there? It wasn't bad on our end. Great to hear about your son. I already thought he had mad skills for such a young rider!!!

I hope you get to come out Sunday. I think that Brad is coming down from Wise, Va. Maybe we can all meet up. Everyone should be out Sunday with the exception of a few who will be out of town.

We usually put it at the ramp beside Bean Station School. They fixed that launch area this year and it is a nice (but narrow) concrete ramp.

Brad, hit us up, would love to give you a pull. I think with a boat you will get a good consistent pull.

Hey Nate, glad you all had a great weekend. I'm suffering from a little mental block. I took some hard falls on a front side 3 (over rotated) but all in all it was a good weekend. We would love to ride SOHO. We will definately hit you up if we ride that way. There is no need to bring your boat if you ever want to ride Cherokee. You can always thumb a ride with us.

Did everyone see the thread about voting on Fuel TV? Good to see the wake community stepping up.

Hope the week treats all of you well.

chill720 09-05-2006 7:09 AM

Nate, dont forget to mention to these fine riders in our area about the little secret that is hitting the store in about a month.....RONIX!
And anyway......Boone Lake is still the champ! haha

dluttr 09-05-2006 10:59 AM

Hey Marvin, the main channel wasn't too crowded on our end, except for around Fall Creek, but it's usually busy around there anyway.

I plan on and look forward to seeing everyone on Sunday.

Nate, you need to bring a new Centurion to Cherokee and let us test drive, and ride behind it

olddude 09-05-2006 12:00 PM

Hi All, Cool to hear from some riders on Cherokee, My son and I are currently buying property on Lake Cherokee in Tennessee, we look forward to riding with some new faces. We'll be moving sometime next year.

marvin 09-05-2006 3:47 PM

Hey David, look forward to seeing you guys again.

Craig, what part of the lake are you guys moving to? It is cool that Cherokee will be your home lake.

Nate, do tell, how do those new boards ride? I plan on trying to get up to your shop sometime in the near future.

Chris, that invite covers you as well, come on down. I have a friend that used Boone Lake a lot and he loved it.

Brad, make sure you look us up on Sunday. I want to thank you personally for starting this thread. We will no doubt meet some cool people because of your post.

Rod, is your computer down? Have not heard from you in a while. Just kidding. I know you have been working a lot. You need to get your priorities right. There will be work when we are dead and gone. We need to get out at least twice this week!!!

famlyboader 09-05-2006 8:05 PM

preacherman 09-05-2006 8:14 PM

Well unfortunatley I am not going to be able to make it down this weekend. I just have to much work to do. Got a lot of computer work and web design to take care of this weekend to meet some deadlines. I hate it so bad, I was looking forward to meeting some of you guys. Anyway, I believe we still got a few weeks before that DREADED WINTER comes in and I would LOVE to meet up with some of you guys before then. Maybe could meet with you guys some Sat. Also, I am so excited about seeing all the people who ride at Cherokee Lake. Thought I would never meet anyone that I could hitch a ride with!! :-)

olddude 09-06-2006 4:35 AM

Marvin, were moving to Chelque Estates

cbk 09-06-2006 7:01 PM

Sorry I have not gotten back to anyone , my wife has just given birth to our son Jack(Tuesday). 8lbs 14 oz.

Dave - Just as soon as I can break free I want to bring a Centurion down and I will be glad to pull anyone.

Marvin - Unfortunately I wasn't able to make the trip to RADAR, yes I said RADAR, the wife was about a week from giving birth so you know how that goes. Chris and Pat got to go and I can't even explain their enthusiasm about the entire product line, and these guys can ride and know a good product. I will let everybody know when we get our first shipment and maybe it will be warm enough to demo.

preacherman 09-06-2006 7:43 PM

Congrats on the birth of Jack!!!

dluttr 09-07-2006 8:25 AM

I second the Congratulations on the birth of Jack! Is this your first child and future wakeboarder?!

marvin 09-07-2006 5:25 PM

First, I would love to say GREAT NEWS about the birth of Jack. I totally understand about not making the trip to RADAR lake, you should have all kinds of points to save up after that choice. Just kidding proud mom! You know he would not have missed it for the world. I think it is pretty cool you would offer to pull us and maybe let us demo the boards. Thanks

Brad, I also understand the deal about work. We all have had things to take care of before, the thing is that we step up and do it. So keep on keeping on, and we will catch you out sometime soon. You can hitch a ride with any of us anytime. I think I speak for me and Rod on that one.

David, are you still on? Hope so man, if you have never been on this end before we would love to show you around.

Rod, I sure do wish we could have made it out tonight. Last night's water condition had me smiling all day. Sorry you have to work, too. And I guess I'm sorry for giving you a hard time about it also. 'Nuff of the sorry crap. Are we going to ride tomorrow or what? We can work in January, what are we going to do when the stupid time changes????

Craig, when you guys come down (or up) yell at us. We would be glad to give you a tug if you want to. You can gladly ride one of our boards and between all of us we will have a size that will be like the baby bear. JUST RIGHT

Chris, look forward to watching you ride. If you could act like you just learned (to not make us look too bad) it would be appreciated.

Pat, keep 'em straight man. It's all on you.

cbk 09-07-2006 7:14 PM

Brad - Thanks man

David - Thanks to you as well...He is our second child. We also have a 2 and a half year old daughter who absolutely love the lake and has already learned to stand on a surf board in the water....I hope momma will let her surf with me next season!

Marvin - Thanks to you... I do have some points in the bank now! Maybe I will get to go out to Breck. this winter after all (Maybe). Thats alot to put on Pat since he's 20 and single and has no kids.

If you guys want to see some cool pics of RADAR check out our website www.centurionofkingsport.com

olddude 09-08-2006 5:03 AM

Hi Marvin & all Cherokee riders,

We always love riding with new people and look forward to riding with everyone who rides on Cherokee. We will be coming fully equipped (ie boat, board, ropes, vests ect.)

chill720 09-08-2006 5:43 AM

Yea Marvin, Pat is the age I was when I started riding, not to mention single, so it will be hard for him to keep straight. And no worries man, it will look like I just learned for sure, im 31 and have put my body through much abuse over the years skiing, jumping, barefooting, and wakeboarding. It takes a toll. When we get the boards in, we will for sure schedule something for everyone to ride, and I will try and help you and everyone else that comes out with any pointers I may have left in me!

dluttr 09-08-2006 6:56 AM

Hey Marvin, I still plan on being on Cherokee Sunday. I'll have a family with me that wants to learn how to wakeboard, so I'm looking forward to it. We'll probably be on the main channel most of the time.

Craig, we look forward to meeting and riding with you. We ride on the main channel around Chelaque Estates a lot. It's a nice area to live in.

I look forward to seeing everyone.

Have a great weekend!

famlyboader 09-09-2006 6:08 PM

You would think the more stuff they put in you the better you would be. Hey, it worked on the T.V. That is a cool offer to let us ride the boards. I would also welcome any pointers that anyone will bring to me.

Brad, I hope you got your work deal taken care of. We have taken care of a few things we needed to do around the house. It was cool because we went out at about five thirty tonight and the water was awesome. We rode reflections all evening.

Nate, we are still planning on coming up there and visiting you guys. I would like to check out the boats and hang out a while.

Hey Pat, lets get everyone we know to call Rod. Store it in your phones guys and call him on those late nights.

preacherman 09-09-2006 7:40 PM

Well, here I am still working at 10:30 at night!!!! LOL, anyway, got a lot done tonight. But the best thing that happened all day was I got tickets to the UT Florida game next saturday for face value!!! GO VOLS Well maybe I can get up with you guys one day soon and meet all of you. Glad you all had awesome rides today!!!

cbk 09-09-2006 8:12 PM

Marvin - Come and see us anytime you want, we will look forward to it.

dluttr 09-11-2006 11:56 AM

We had a good time riding on the lake Sunday. The water conditions were great!

Marvin, I took Ken Ferguson (Hawkins Co. Deputy),and his family out. He mentioned that he knew you. We all had a great time, until the Wedge broke toward the end of the day. I'm getting it replaced this week, and plan on being on the lake again Friday and Sunday.

I saw an Air Nautique and a new Moomba on the lake near Fall Creek, but no one I knew. Sometime, I'll get down to German Creek.

Hope to see everyone out there soon!

Have a great week!

cbk 09-11-2006 7:14 PM

Don't replace the Wedge replace the boat!

cbk 09-17-2006 7:19 PM

What happened to everybody? Today was my first trip back to the lake since Jack arrived and it was great....It seems like we will have maybe three or four more weekends left. Pat and Nick made the trip to Surf Expo in Orlando over the weekend (another trip I missed that I get points from the wife for)They spent all day Friday with the part of the Ronix crew (Chad Sharpe and Emily Copeland Durham) and got us hooked up on some killer new gear for our shop. they are also bringing one of the NASCAR edition Centurion's back. In case you did't know Centurion just signed a major partnership deal with NASCAR so you should expect to see our boats at NASCAR events. Sorry for the long post. I hope everybody is doing well.

preacherman 09-17-2006 7:47 PM

That boats looks freakin awesome!!! Hey Nate, thanks for helping my wife and I on Saturday. I can't wait for the Ronix items to come in. Keep me posted!! Hopefully get to go out with you guys before the end of season.

cbk 09-17-2006 7:49 PM

Sorry bout the VOLS man!

dluttr 09-18-2006 8:34 AM

I pulled Brandon and some of his friends Sunday on Cherokee Lake. The conditions were excellent. Brandon tried several backrolls and is on the verge of landing them. I took these shots of him going W2W.

Very nice boat Team CBK! I look forward to trying the 07's.

We'll be going out at least a couple more times, before I get the boat winterized.

Marvin, I haven't heard from you lately. How have you been?

Have a great week everyone!

cbk 09-18-2006 9:18 AM

David - Who does your winterization?

dluttr 09-18-2006 9:55 AM

I get my boat winterized at Rogersville Marine, unless I need some service work done, then I take it to Shadracks for winterization. I'll be happy to let your team do it this year though.

I'll probably bring it in around the first to mid October.

Let me know, if I need to make an appointment.

cbk 09-18-2006 1:09 PM

I would love to be able to service your boat. Our mechanic is probably the best around, other dealers call him all the time. We do all services for inboards from winterization to overhauls. Just call and let me know a couple days in advance. Thanks

marvin 09-18-2006 6:55 PM

Hey guys I hope everyone is doing fine. My job has been keeping me busy. When not at work we have been trying to get to the lake as much as possible. I think we know those long "off season" days are coming. We have been trying to get in as much as we can.

Do any of you guys snowboard? If so, where do you guys usually go? Sorry for talking about the S word.

Nice boat!!! I kind of laughed when I saw it. I can see a redneck coming up with a beer and a NASCAR fueled fight breaking out. Not you Rod, I was talking about OTHER rednecks. It is a cool boat though, I have got to get up there and see you guys. It's not like you are across the country.

Brad, yell when you get down this way and we will pick you up or meet you some where. I hope you have been riding some.

Hey David, the water on our end was kind of choppy. When we got there it was nice (9:30) but then it went down hill. Rode slop all day until after 6:00 then it got better. We had one to get hurt on us. It was a new guy, I don't think you have met him. He has been charging HARD and took a massive face plant. He is okay today, no headaches just a real sore neck. I think we have all been there.

Sorry about the long post. Has anyone called Rodney yet?

dluttr 09-18-2006 7:25 PM

Hey Marvin, sorry to hear you had a rough day on the lake Sunday with choppy water and an injury. We rode in Poor Valley some. It was excellent conditions and then moved onto the main channel near the Quarryville boat ramp. It was great also.

Brandon and I both snowboard..usually go to Ski Beech in NC. We don't enjoy it near as much as wakeboarding, but we try to go every once in awhile in the (dreaded) winter months.

I haven't called Rodney yet.

jhilltn 09-18-2006 7:54 PM

sounds like you guys have a good time up there. i've only ridden on cherokee one time. i'd love to come ride with some of you guys up there before it gets cold.

dluttr 09-19-2006 6:40 AM

Hello jhill. We'd love to have you come ride with us sometime. I'll be going out a couple of more times before my season ends. If you see the Malibu boat in the pic, it's me.

Next season, it may be a different boat.

Where are you coming from?

cbk 09-19-2006 3:55 PM

Marvin- yeah it's a different boat, but it's pretty cool toeing it around town...it turns some heads! We snowboardat Beech usually on Thursday's...hey we are guys and it's free for us on Thursday's. Hope you guys can make it up soon.

We just signed with GURU the trampboard company and we should have some of those before to long and we are also going to have a trampoline at the shop so anybody that wants to come check it out is welcome to.
-Jhill - Good to see another rider chiming in. Check us out at www.centurionofkingsport.com

David - I hope you do have a new boat (Centurion)next season.

preacherman 09-19-2006 5:46 PM

Well sounds like everyone had a great weekend. I can't wait for all the new products to come in at Kingsport shop. I hoped to have me a centurion next spring!!! (Nascar boat looks Freakin Crazy, I love it!!!)

I never imagined that this post would accumulate so many responses and put me in contact with so many people!! WOW!!!

I haven't got to ride any lately, but I am headed down to Cherokee the weekend of October 21st. I am not sure if this is to late for you guys, may be to cold.

Hey Nate, keep me posted if you guys go out the next couple of weekends at South Holston, maybe I can join you.

cbk 09-19-2006 6:37 PM

Brad - I got your email and intended to get back to you. I think we are going out on Saturday to S.Holston. I will let you know.

If anyone else would like to join us just give me a shout.

preacherman 09-19-2006 8:02 PM

Hello All, I just updated our website and it has all of the new Ronix gear. www.centurionofkingsport.com

Rodney,Marvin- We will definitely be at the Eskimo Escapades and would live to meet up with you guys.

dluttr 09-24-2006 9:35 AM

Well, it appears our riding season may be over. We we're hoping to ride today (Sunday), unfortunately, we got rained out. I have plenty of work to do around the house on the weekends before the days get shorter/colder, so I figured I'd call it a season.

Marvin and Rodney, I definitely look forward to seeing you at the Eskimo Escapades. Not sure I'll ride though...brrr.

Maybe we'll see some of you on the slopes at Beech.

Team CBK, I'll be calling soon to check out the 07 gear and get the boat winterized.

I look forward to seeing and meeting EVERYONE on Lake Cherokee in 2007!

Have a great week and rest of the year!

Let's don't let this post die. Stay in touch!

cbk 09-24-2006 10:39 AM

David - I think we are with you in calling it a season for 2006. That's not to say that we won't venture out on some of the 60 and 70 degree days that we get in November or December. This picture was taken in January 2006 when we had our last measurable snowfall, Pat decided to bear the 40 degree water and 30 degree outside temp and put on a winter show for local TV station WCYB...hey it got some attention!

2006 season for Team CBK is officially over

David, If you want to ride after you get your boat winterized yell at us. We usually ride all the month of October and have even rode into late November. I know for sure we are going out Tuesday and maybe Wednesday this coming week if you guys would like to join. I am waiting on Rod, we may be going out for a while today.

Well, it sucks that all this cold weather is coming our way. I hate that I just picked this sport up towards the end of the season. But one thing for sure, I am so glad that I started this post and I am thankful for meeting all you guys. Nate is the only one that I have gotten to meet in person so far but I look forward to 2007 to meeting the rest of you guys.

I can't wait until then to get on the water with some of you guys and let you guys teach me some skills!!! Hopefully get to ride with you guys on Cherokee and on South Holston. Still kinda lost on who rides where, but I guess I will figure it out. (if you don't care, maybe throw me a post out here at where each of you guys ride)

By the way what is Eskimo Escapades? And where does this take place at? Sounds interesting!!!

Hey Nate, hope to come by the store sometime soon and check out the new stock you got!!

SoHO (South Holston Lake)

dluttr 09-24-2006 2:16 PM

Hey Team CBK, you guys are brave to ride in conditions like that...40 degree water & 30 degree air temp. Not for me ...too cold! I'll enjoy watching everyone brave Eskimo Escapades. It's for some great causes, and I'll be happy to donate or help sponsor a rider.

Marvin, Thanks for the offer to give me a tow. Brandon and/or I may take you up on it sometime. Unfortunately, I'm so busy through the week, it's hard to get away.

Bradley, sorry we didn't get to meet up with you on Cherokee this year. We'll see you in 07. It's good to know there's some extra drivers next year I may count on. My wife goes out only a few times a year, so I can use another driver at times.

Craig, we look forward to meeting you next year also.

cbk 09-24-2006 2:33 PM

David - Keep in mind, he did have a wetsuit, layers and a drysuit....still to cold for me too. His feet, head and hands were the one that got really cold.

marvin 09-24-2006 6:18 PM

Hey guys, anytime any of you all want to go out let me know. We had an awesome day today. We had to run from some rain, but that only lasted 15 minutes or so. The water is not too cold and a neo top should keep you comfy.

Nate, I usually watch WCYB in the mornings, Johnny Woods rocks!!!! I look forward to meeting you guys up there, maybe soon we will be up and bring the whole gang. p.s. a few of us are looking for new rides.

Brad, we usually stay in German Creek on Cherokee. I really look forward to meeting you, too. I want to thank you for starting this thread. I know the 07 season is going to bring new faces and friends.

Have a great week everyone.

cbk 09-24-2006 6:35 PM

No doubt...big props to Brad, it's great that this one post has brought out so many people.

Maybe this year when we do our snow ride we can let everyone know and kind of make an event out of it, and have even more people out to watch. We will even provide the extra boats if we get enough people together.

Here is another bone chilling pic for you guys!

preacherman 09-24-2006 7:14 PM

Hey Marvin, what does next weekend look like for you guys going out to Cherokee? So far it all looks clear for me, and if you guys are going out maybe I could drive down and ride out with you guys for a little while. Just let me know. I would love to hit it one more time this season, since this is my first and I have only got to ride about 2 days since I got my board.

jhilltn 09-24-2006 8:06 PM

If you guys are in the Knoxville area this coming weekend (Sept. 29, 30) there will be a rail jam going on friday night and saturday at worlds fair park so come check it out. It's part of the Bent Fork Bike Fest. Lyman and G.Nunn are coming in and there will be some of us locals hitting it as well. Should be a good time.

www.bentforkbikefest.com

hey guys,if any of you are not for sure about eskimo escapades here is a little info---cost last year was 50.00 bucks a little high for a 3-5 min ride but --all money goes to patrica neal foundation - rehabilitation for people with bad injurys-walking talking using muscles again.the other is the dream connection. they send kids with sevier and deathly illness to go or do anything anywhere for free ! I have a co-worker her girl had kidney failure sent the whole family to hawaii for a week didnt cost nothing girl is doin great now.yes it hurts to do it but they lay kids that cant walk on wakeboards and they ride and love it.its all over the news 2 weeks before. hey marvin great pull today - wasnt as warm as i like it but the water and good times are priceless!!!!!!!!!! olddude 09-25-2006 5:05 AM

Hi All Cherokee riders! We closed on our property last week on the lake. Justin and I look forward to riding up there and meeting folks who share the same interest.

dluttr 09-25-2006 8:24 AM

I plan on being on Cherokee lake, (probably the last time this season), this Tuesday afternoon to pull Brandon. If any of you have the opportunity to go out at this time, let me know. Hope to see you there.

cbk 09-25-2006 10:23 AM

David - What time do you plan on being out there. Pat and I might try to make it out.

dluttr 09-25-2006 1:33 PM

I'll probably hit the lake tomorrow, sometime between 2pm & 3pm, if all goes as planned.

It would be great to see you guys there.

marvin 09-25-2006 5:35 PM

David, are you going to be at Quarryville?

Brad, are you talking about the weekend of the 29th? It doesn't really matter though because as long as the weather holds up we will be out. I would love for you to come and hang out with us. We will pull you until your arms fall off. That rail jam sounds cool that jhill was talking about might try to go check it out.

Craig, great to hear man. We look forward to embarrassing our selves in front of everyone someday.

Jhill, that sounds cool man. I have not checked the site out yet. I think that everyone in our group would like to try to get down there at least one day. I'll yell at you later and try to find a way to meet you all down there.
