iTunes & DLNA streaming options

I must be getting old, I can't figure out how to use my TV!!

I ditched my Yamaha media controller last week as it kept dropping the audio signal when using the cable box dvr. So, I've lost my iPod controller as well. Streaming with DLNA is straighforward, I just needed to update TV's firmware. Sweetness, or so I thought. I can't see any of my iTunes library, obviously because of the formatting issue. So I googled the interwebz and found a few options-

Export iTunes-
Pros- it's free, looks straightforward, copy playlist or albums
Cons- its copying every song (possibly multiple times) to another folder.

Jamcast- http://www.sdstechnologies.com/Features.aspx
Pros- android app, can stream to phone anywhere, looks simple
Cons- $30, music files only

Mezzmo- http://www.conceiva.com/products/mezzmo/default.asp
Pros- all media formats
Cons- $30

Anyone have experience with these or some other option that I missed? Is there a secret setting in iTunes?? I might try the Jamcast free trial.

Are you trying to do this on a mac or a pc? On my DLNA television I can only stream from my pc, I don't think Macs have a DLNA server software built into the OS. There are third party apps to get a DLNA stream going on a mac though, but I haven't looked into it yet
