boots to work with 2011 slingshot boards besides the RADS
 

I have a 2011 recoil i love but im sellin the vandalls i use for them and i wana pair of new boots that will work with the slingshot strata line and work on a regular 6-hole board. any suggestions? maybe hyperlite system or any good bindings

Yes, I do believe the possibilities are endless.

They all will work with the Strata, but I am not sure if Slingshot will warranty a defective board if anything but the RAD boots are mounted on it. That is the case with Hyperlite. If you don't use their boots they will NOT warranty the board.

well liquid force boots didnt fit my board at all so i was wondering

In what way did they not fit? I really thought everything would fit on a track system.

they would be lose as in i couldnt tighten down the top bolt to the bindings for a snug fit on my board. i honestly do not think u can use any other boot but the Rads or any boot by slingshot or company

So they fit, but your bolts were too long. Toss a couple washers on top and you're good to go.

you can run into this kind of problem with loosness mixing any brands of boots even with traditional inserts. insert depth and bolt length vary brand to brand. washers is the way to go

there are the slingshot Options boots too.

can anyone try to put the hyperlite systems on a 2011 slingshot for me cause thats what i really want

i have not physically done this, but you would have to mount them with the outside slots. hyperlite systems have a choice to mount them with the bolts about 4 inches (hl strata) apart or 6 inches apart (non hl strata). hyperlite's strata has female hardware that slides in the track. slingshot has male hardware. hope this makes sense without pics

Why would you have to mount them with the outside slots? Hardware comes with the bindings, so you would be getting Hyperlite hardware, which would be able to be mounted on the inside. The only potential problem is a difference in track size here, which would be relatively easy to check with a quick trip to a boardshop.
