My 1st boat SANGER v210 brand new
5 Attachment(s)
Well I purchased this boat in March of 2012 and have been waiting to post pics, but wanted to wait till I got it all done. Born and raised in Sanger, CA so i've always been in love with these boats so its only obvious I had to have a Sanger.
Tower Rev410 (single) Icon 8 (pair ) Inboard Infinity 612M - 6.5" (4) JL 10" Sub enclosed M10W5-SG-TB Not sure what 2 amps are being run as I can not see em, but they are JL amps. Sounds wicked glad I choose the Wetsounds setup and waited for the Rev410 & Icon8 release rather than being impatient & choosing another brand or settling for the pro485s. Two rev410 wouldnt fit my tower so chose the Icon8. This wknd was the 1st time out with the new sound system, only been out 4 times total. |
Very nice! Super clean looking... CONGRATS!
Your boat looks great. See you Pine Flat one day I hope. Might hear you before I see you. Great looking boat.
Nice wake machine you have there!
The V210 is the little engine that could. Such a good boat.
Thanks for the compliments fellas! Yes ive heard nothing but great things about the v210 so I choose that as my entry level wakeboard boat since i just started last summer. Figurered my next boat would be a v230 as i get experience down the road and have kids, just me and the wife right now.
Tal, Lol! im sure thatll be the case, but ill keep an eye out. |

Welcome to the club. I like the simple color scheme and great looking system. Refreshing to see a simple classic value boat, trust me it was worth every penny!!
Great boat. Great wake! Congrats!
Diggin the color scheme! Nice ride, enjoy....
I love it.
Great looking boat. I absolutely love how the V210's looked on the water. Darren's pictures of his slammed are a thing of beauty.
If you don't mind me asking. What kind of price are the V210's commanding these days? Can you get one with the blakc scorpion, triple ballast, PP, Tower, racks, cover and tandem trailer for 40ish? |
Paid under $40k for mine, but it was oldest brand new sanger on the lot and dealer was willing to work on the price with us. The one I was looking @ in Nevada had everything you described, but we were only there for the day and the deal fell through as we had to head home they were asking $42k out the door. So your looking @ around $40-46k.
Totally agree! She looks great on the trailer, but once you drop her in the water she shines. Wish I could stare at her from a distance while I was driving, lol! |
Wow under 40k for a brand new Sanger. Can't beat the quality and wake for that price. That's awesome congrats.
Seems liek the V210 should be a popular boat still. If you can get one with the wakeboarding essentials for around 40ish that is awesome. There probably isn't another capable wake boat within 10k unless you can get a similar equipped Moomba Outback V but I bet those are closer to 50k with those options.
Brett you bring up a great point on the value and wake performance of the V210. That being said I'm sure the V215 has taken quite a few sales away from the V210. I just hope Sanger doesn't discontinue the model.
Brad I agree. Of the newer models im seeing more and more v215 on the lakes now than v210s.. Really hope sanger keeps producing em as you can't find a better boat that does what it does for the v210 prices.
One thing I would like to see them do is increase the freeboard a little on the V210. It could use the extra hull sides so the rear deck can be flatter, the seat bases and backs can be taller and you can safely add more weight for surfing. That being said, one of the most appealing aspects of the V210 is it's sleek, sexy, low profile look. It they could basically keep the same lines while keeping the exact same wetted surface I think it would be a good thing. Problem is then you would have the V210 and V215 really close in length.
As much as i love the v210, if they are going to freshen it up it would make more sense to take a v215, chop a foot out of the sun pad, half a foot out of the cabin and create a v200 for the restricted lake market.
SICK! shell be solid for the next 20 years if u take care of her.
Still miss my v210 |

A V210 with 8" out of it is pretty much the DXII hull. It becomes a pretty small platform with those dimensions, Scott told me one of the advantages of the V215 platform is even though it is 96" beam the wetted surface is only 3/4" wider at the tail than the V210

Interesting on the V215 Hull. That sounds like it would make a cool boat. Woud be cool to see a 20'-20.5' boat that looks just like the V215. |
I like the idea of the wider beam and the extra freeboard on a 20 ft hull. You probably wouldn't see as much cannibalization in sales with the 215 and 210.
Yeah freeboard is the absolute only complaint I have about my V210. Looks great sitting low but with full ballast and 5+ people it can get pretty nerve-racking.

I sack mine out 2 k in ballast with 5 men and only problem I have is the lake monster behind me but he's really not a problem cuz all I need is a lil bump on the throttle and poof he's gone! Love my Sanger wake is freakin radical !
Yeah my issue is more with the front end wanting to dip. Especially when even the smallest rollers threaten to come over the front. But is the wake worth the extra attention and care while driving? Absolutely.

Very Nice, Congratulations!

Beautiful.

Dude you need a acme 911 and you will be set!!
I've heard good things about that prop, but have yet to get a for sure answer on fuel consumption vs the stock acme prop. I'll have to look into it next season.
Welcome to the family. I had a littel MB ski boat for one year when I decided to get a wake boat I too landed on Sanger. She's a bute, good job!
How does that tower comnination work for you? Did you tune it yourself? I kinda wonder how much you are gaining from the Icons. It would seem that the 410 would blow em away or would have to be dumbed down to pair with it.
1st off i wish that the Rev410 grill came in the light grey grill that the Icon8 has. Just for the fact that it matches my ride almost identical. That being said, No i didnt tune it myself I had the installer do that. The Rev410 doesnt really overpower the Icon8's they blend together nicely. You can hear the rev410 behind the boat on a board or tube great, but while maintaining a clear nice sound inside the boat for passengers with the Icon8 w/o killing their ears with a pair or rev10 or pro80s paired with the Rev410. As for sitting in a cove and partying sounds great also, everyones hearing is different. I have a buddy that has 3 pro485s on a sanger v215 and its sounds great also, but when hes pulling someone someone music blairing those highs and clairity isnt as nice as the Icon8's sound in the boat. That my opinion and it may have to do with setup & tuning, but that the only boat i can compare it to.
