Was thinking of adding some lighting to my malibu illusion tower and was seeing if anyone had any suggestions. I was looking to mount them on the bottom side of the top frame so my bimi top could fit securely over them.

Don't know too much about the lights themselves, but I know this company makes some pretty nice ones that fit on the Illusion towers.

http://lostpro.com/illusionlight.htm

Thanks, have you heard if they put off good lighting? I am trying to find a light that would increase visibility to the front of the boat for driving at night.

Lights and driving at night really don't mix, plus there illegal in California with the exception of docking and loading and unloading from the trailer. I added 4 lights to my illusion tower for less then $35 I'll take pics and show you a easy and cheap DIY solution for the illusion towers!

Nothing helps driving at night, the less light you have the better, even driving with your instrument lights off helps. I had 4 lights on my illusion and they hurt more then help, with lights off I would see 100 yards ahead of us, with them on we maybe got 20 yards of sight. Hard to explain, but if you try it you'll see right away. (More light=less visibility).

I live on a lake and use HID lights ( $450/pr). the way my bimini is setup my lights work great. It's like I literally have a sun behind me. I use 4 55W HID lights ( forward). close to 8-10 times brighter than your standard 55W halogen. I'm out at nite at least 2 times a week, 40 weeks a year. Mine have literally been lifesavers. the only time I don't run them at nite is if there is a full moon.
