Last night I tried to run my speaker/LED/and anchor light wire through my tower. I read that the easiest way to accomplish this is by using kite string and vacuum, them pull the wires through. This worked like a charm for part of the tower. When we tried to get the string from the hole in the top right of the tower to the starting hole at the base of the tower, bottom left we had problems. The kite string would keep knotting up inside the tower rather than flowing through it to the vacuum. I was able to get a snake through the tower, but can't get enough hold on it to keep the wire on it as we pull it through.

Does anyone have any other suggestions? I am hoping to get on the water this weekend. I appreciate the help!!

If you can get a snake through it just tape the wire at the end of it and pull it back through. Have someone feeding the wire from the bottom as your pulling from the top so it has slack.

Slack, slack and more slack. The more slack you give the string the easier it will go through. And then just put a good tape around your wire and the string. I used electrical tape and it worked out nicely. Also easier to pull all the wire at the same time, then to go back and try and fish it around the first wire.

Sounds good... i will try both.

Jarrod, if i fish all the wire at once, how will I get certain wires out of the little holes in the tower? I have drilled three separate holes, one for each tower speaker and another for the tower anchor light. The holes are just big enough to fit the wires that go to each appropriate device and a rubber grommet to seal the hole... I don't think I will be able to find/pull the two wires I need out of the hole.

How did you guys navigate this part?
