what are the major difference between these two boats? <BR>the 04 model has less hours otherwise they are in the same condition. <BR> <BR>thanks

Everything... Hull, Interior, Stereo system Engine ect. Both are great boats but no similarities.

ace, <BR>do you want to wakesurf? and waterski? If so go with the X2. <BR>Otherwise nothing beats the wake of an X-star for wakeboarding. <BR>Also, the X2 is much more nimble and the chances of swamping the bow is less.

there is a lot of differences from the '04 to the '06, biggest things being tower, and stereo, ballast as well. A lot of factors will/should have you lean toward the '06 from overall "better" features, but when it comes down to price, like MCXSTAR said, both are still great boats, just the '06 has a few more cosmetics that are great features..

Also where are you going to be using it? X-Star is a big boat harder to get into small areas. Also which engines do the boats have. A X-2 with an MCX will get better fuel econ than a Star with the same motor.
