Looking to get a program for my Mac and I'm not sure where to go.

Sounds like Aperture might be a bit pricy compared to Elements? Also, you can buy Elements 4.0 and get the new version free right now when it ships from Apple.

Just looking for the basic editing tools at this time and don't really want to spend the $600 for CS3.

If you know someone who's a teacher or student, you can get CS3 for around half price with the educators discount...

Nick,

I have a Elements 2.0 you can have if you want it. It will do all the basic stuff and more.

Where do you go to get that teacher's discount?

Aperture is $150 if you're a student.

Walt, that would be awesome!

How much would you like for it?

Just want to verify as well, that this is the Mac version?
