Love our new boat. But one thing I miss terribly is our boat buddy on our old trailer (2000 x-star). We used it for 3 years and overtime the boat buddy was showing some pretty good wear. MC dealer told me that the Boat buddy would getmanhandled with my new boat and would have to be replaced frequently if I had one installed. Is there a larger version of the boat buddy? Is anyone who owns an x-45 currently using a boat buddy and not having problems? Any advice would help. Thanks, Chris

I wanted a boat buddy for our X-45 and they did not recommend it either. We had one with our X-10 and loved the convenience. I have not heard of alternatives...

There are two sizes. The one on our trailer is the small one. Our boat is 22'6".
