Ok, so here we go...

I need to drill some holes in some chromoly tubing for my new lightbar. I want to drill the holes exactly (or very close) in the center of the pipe. I have a drill press and was planning on using a set of calipers to guesstimate the center mark on the pipe, clamp the tube down and drill away.

Has anyone attempted this before? Any recomendations as to the best way to proceed? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

TIA
