Boston Area Sights to See

I'm late at getting this thread out but what the heck anyway. I'm in Boston tomorrow through Sunday. Been there a couple times before, but looking for any locals' recommendations of something unique to see or places to eat. We're staying in the middle of town, near Copley Square. We will have a car one day and are thinking about driving out to Cape Cod. Good idea? Better alternatives? On the 4th we have tickets to see Boston vs. Padres at Fenway. Any suggestions before/after?

Any tips from Boston locals would be appreciated.

What day are you heading to the cape? I live here and the traffic gets packed i suggest to take the bourne bridge when you come over the sagamore is always backed up sometimes you sit there for 2 hours...not fun. Capes a blast beaches everywhere and if you can i would highly recommend a trip over to the islands like marthas vineyard. As for boston, sox game will be fun faneuil hall is a good place to go to.

Thanks Nick. We are heading outgo the Cape tomorrow starting at 8AM or so and will use your suggestion on the Bournemouth bridge. Coming back the same evening so hoping to miss major traffic going out after work for the 4th. Don't think we have enough time for Martha's Vineyard & the ferry.

I was there shortly after the bombing and took a run down to the marathon finish line and checked out the memorial - not sure what the current status of it is.

As far as eats, go to Toro or Coppa or both. Both are fantastic.
