Subwoofer Upgrade and Placement in 2008 SANTE 230

I have a buddy with a 2008 SANTE 230 who wants to do a XXX V2 or maybe XS12. I haven't looked at the boat in person but in looking at the pics he sent and digging around online, there is plenty of room in the observer's helm. The issue is venting it into the walkway, especially since he wants to keep the trash can.

Can anyone share their pics/experience of a subwoofer install in this boat?

You can look on the Earmark site under the installation gallery and find a 220 that had several vents for the port side W7 sub.
If there is a hatch it is easy to vent the hatch.
Keep in mind that the vent in the pass-thru walkway places the vented bass radiation outside of the cockpit bathtub so as much energy is generated in the bow area as in the cockpit area. So not as focused and concentrated as would be ideal. More ideal would be a) vented output directly within the cockpit, b) vented in the forward corner of the cockpit, c) vented low and as close to the sole as possible, and d) vented with as much surface area as possible.
It is a tough boat and you have to take what the boat gives you.
