SWEET!! let me know how he does.. my friends wants to get her son into it and was wondering if he could handle it... hes 2 1/2 and is pretty much fearless, personally i think hed do good if he could hang on to the handle..

ghostrider_2 07-06-2006 3:01 PM

he holds onto the handle as rag him across the lawn.

twakess 07-06-2006 6:05 PM

ya thats killer Kenny. Now just let him progress at his own pace. Don't push to hard. I have seen to many people push kids two hard.

wakekid72501 07-06-2006 6:11 PM

That's cool i wish i would have started that early.

He rode 3x today at his pace when he was ready. I won't be one of those fathers with thier kid scream'in and me forcing them. When he was done he was done. I gave him big high five's and lots of love to let him know how proud I was of him.
He would hold onto the rope but didn't want me more than a couple of feet from him. Overall I'm very proud that he has taken to our great sport.

wakekid72501 07-06-2006 6:23 PM

Can he put on his bindings by his self and take them off

ghostrider_2 07-06-2006 6:36 PM

he does that easily, esp in the house he wants pulled all over. You should see how he can balance himself with the board attached, he can lean waaaayyy back and wwaaayyy forward (wish I could)...

wakekid72501 07-06-2006 6:45 PM

Sounds like he is gonna be good! (i know i think he will be.)

ghostrider_2 07-06-2006 6:49 PM

Ya it scares me in 2-3 years he'll be giving me lessons

wakekid72501 07-06-2006 7:04 PM

Well maybe he'll make big bucks doing that.

wakelvr 07-06-2006 9:31 PM

That is very awesome:-) My son is 14 months and we are putting him in our pool every chance we get. He loves it (thank goodness).

Thanks for sharing:-)

lfxstar 07-06-2006 9:55 PM

he is a big 2 year old, next rusty malinoski on our hands

ghostrider_2 07-06-2006 10:41 PM

He just turned 2 and wears a kids size 11 shoe, everybody thinks he's almost 4 when they see him.

I always joke around saying he's the white boys version of Shaq.

Only problem is he's growing so fast his clothes cost more than our wakeboarding....

here's a picture at 17months

kfcflores 07-07-2006 4:54 PM

how much did u pay for his setup? Have u actually got him behind the boat yet?

ghostrider_2 07-07-2006 11:46 PM

I got it from Mike/RV at grizzly sports board /bindings 200.

was behind boat today, be he wasnt ready/feelin it. so I let him swim with a little til he was done. Man did he throw fit to make sure it was brought along the put in the board rack when we got to the lake.

innov8 07-08-2006 7:32 AM

So cool, got to love it!!
Size 11 in kids at two years old

hyperlitenrd 07-08-2006 7:53 AM

when i was little and we had our skurfer, my dad would take me to the pool and pull me up him self, its a good way to practice doing it before you are out on the lake.
