If i have 2 580 pound fat sacs can i put them on either side of the enigine? Will it improve the wake alot?

if they fit, they will definitly improve the wake, but make sure you make up for it and even out the weight in the front.

(Message edited by mmobius2001 on July 28, 2004)

A 1000 lbs will definitely help, but like Phil said, make sure you add some weight the the bow as well. Also, make sure your boat can handle the added weight. We added 1700-1900 lbs to a bayliner (no laughing!), and it was too much. Some boats just don't have the power to haul around that much weight, and tow a rider at the same time. If that's the case, you might find that putting a full sac in the rear, and the other sac, near full, in the bow (or forward area) will be the best combination.

-Blake

What if I just put a 580 in the ski locker which is directly in the middle of the boatwill that do it>

If you can fit the sac in the ski locker, go for it. Any weight helps so it's worth trying! The benefit of having a couple sacks is that you can balance things out so
a) you get the ramp or vert you desire and
b) the boat handles well.
