Wetsounds Rev8 & Pro80 & Arc Amps Setup??
 

So I am changing my config on my tower speakers and amps.

Old set up
1 ARC 250XXk (similar to syn2) running 4 Pro 80s (all 4 may be for sale):rolleyes:
1 ARC 250XXk (similar to syn2) runnnig 6 Arc 6x9s

(The Arc 6x9s are for sale, box with 6 55watt lights too) They sound great but the box and speakers were too heavy with the PRO80s on the tower.
-The Four Pro 80s are also for sale

???New setup???

1 ARC 250XXk (similar to syn2) Running the 4 Pro80s as before?
1 ARC 250XXk (similar to syn2) Running the 2 Rev 8s?

I have all winter so am def willing to do it right

Everyone was telling me the syn 2 wasn't enough for the Rev8's as they like more power. They told me to go to the syn 4. So you may want a comparable amp to the syn 4. I don't know any better, but that is what people have been telling me.

Yep step up the power to the towers. Rev 8s love 400w a piece. I am sure the pro 80s can handle close to that as well.

Im not sure what you can fit on the tower, but I would not do the Pro-80/Rev-8 combo. I would consider maybe 4 Rev-8 on one Arc 250XXk and maybe a Rev-410 on the other 250 XXk.

Or just 4 Rev-8 on an SD-2 and sell all the Pro-80's and both Arc amps.

I already have all 6 speakers, guess i will look into selling Pro80s and getting a 410

Whats a used pair of black Pro80s with brand new grills go for these days?

The 410 powered by a ks300.2 / syn2 is amazing!!!
I have two 410's with a pair of ks300.2's and it sounds amazing!!!
Is the 250xxk a class a/b amp?
That thing would be a beast on a 410. Just be very careful with the gain.
Personally I would sell the pro 80's and squeeze a pair of 410's onto your tower.

With the other audio you have and are running, this is what I would do... Sell the Pro80's and arc's.. Get a pair of Rev10's and a Rev410, then a Sinister6 to run it.... this will be the loudest tower set up...... Or if you like the 410's do two of them on a Sinister4.... I wouldnt continue using the pro80's with all the goodies inside your boat..... time to bring the tower to the stage ;)

ha ha, as long as they are loud enough to acivate the lasers ;) I hear ya on the 2 410s and perhaps selling the Rev8s too, but man...where does it end $$$$$$$$ damn boats

So who knows somebody that wants a couple sets of Pro80s with brand new not even mounted yet mounted grills? :cool:
