i am 5'6" and weight 105ish which board is better

The 134. Damn, you might also want to try eating some food, no lots of food.
what would be the weight cut off between the 134 and 140 cm? i weight 175lbs...could i go with either size or does height factor in as well?
Ride it in a length that you would ride a normal board. The width is a lift and landing aid.
Andrew, I am 5,5 and about 160 and I ride the 134. My friend is prob 5.7 to 5.8 and he rides the 140. He said the the 134 was a little short for him.

Squid...does it depend more on weight or height when chosing the size of a board...or both? I'm not in the market for a new board yet, but I bought a DoubleUp Antidote 140 beginning of this season and didn't really know anything about boards due to me being a beginner. I'm 5'10" and 175lbs and I feel that the 140 cm is about the right size for me...but maybe a smaller board would be a better choice.
It is a lot of preference. There are some people that are 140lbs that ride 140 and greater boards and then there are 200lb people that ride smaller than 140 boards.

You will hear different arguments both ways as to why smaller or larger is better. However, in general, the heavier you are, the large the board you will want. I think the 140 is just fine for you. I am 200 and will ride 140-142... I would even consider the 147 era for a test ride.

hey Dave...thanks for the info...how do you like your Marius? Is it as great as everyone says it is? Is it soft on the landings?
Andrew, I agree with dave I would go with the 140.
I just got back from riding the Marius 140 for the first time. I have to say, it's the widest board I've ever been on. The transition from edge to edge was different from anything I've ever ridden. As soon as you applied pressure to an edge, the board just takes off. The 140 didn't ride like a big board. It had tons of pop and super soft landings. I think you just have to get used to the edging to really tear it up on this board.

Hahn
