I have a 93 prostar 190. Currently I have around 1000 lbs in the rear and 300-400 lbs in the front under the nose. I was thinking of putting some 250# sacs on either side of the engine or closer to the front to help it plane out quicker. I cant find any sacs that are 250# each. Does anyone know if this would be a good weight configuration? If it is where can I find 250 sacs? It seems like all the sacs run around 400 up or 150 down.

My buddy did a very similar config with his 190 and it was a great wake. Not sure about the sacs, but Launch Pad makes 350's that might fit for you. Have fun with it.

Do you think 2000 lbs would be hard on the boat at all? I know alot of people run that much, but just wondering if 2 350# on either side of the engine would be good?

The boat I ride behind is a prostar 190 its a 96, we throw 2000# plus in it and it has a sweet wake to it! We have a fat seat in the back, i think the sacs on the side are 300 then another 150 in water in the front plus some lead to move around and adjust easily.
