How much has organizing a crew moved to FB and Meetup.com?
 

So I'm on my second return from retirement in this sport and this time around I've found little to no traction getting hooked up with people to ride on this site, but I've been on three trips in the last three weekends and have two more coming up all because of Meetup and FB groups.

Is that where most of the connecting/networking is going now?

Yup. EVERYTHING has gone to FB these days

Haven't been introduced to meetup yet. But about 80% of the people I ride and have ridden with have been thru WakeWorld. The rest is thru networking on the lake and like 1 or 2 thru bFB.

i tried first on here with no luck and i'm all over meetup now as i meet a lot of great riders/Drivers to trust so i can ride also

Isn't there a sign up fee with meetup???

Most of my wakeboard friends on FB I met through Wakeworld.
