Stupid P.E. Class... 1 fracture 1 inch into from left side of left foot... Cutting into my wake starting dates, does anyone know how to make it heal faster than rest, staying off of it, and wearing a boot?

cut back on sugar and get alot of calcium. aka milk etc.

After all my broken bones, including foot, my ortho told me to eat generic Tums (Walgreens brand) because they are basically a calcium supplement and WAY cheaper than regular calcium pills. I ate like 6-7 a day and it sure didn't hurt the healing process any. Plus the assorted fruit are pretty tasty!

I broke my ankle pretty bad the beginning of my senior year of football. I got a hold of a bone stimulator or something like that from someone in the community that had had for some reason. Anyways that worked wonders. I was practicing light within 4 weeks. It was still fractured 9 weeks later and I had been playing for about 3-4 weeks normal. <BR>Main thing is to just keep it wrapped up tight. If it can't move it's not gonna hurt as bad.

Take a supplement called Bone Up. I broke my foot Aug. 08 on a half cab and after a plate and screws and lots of Bone Up, I was back on the water in 8 weeks. Bone Up has magnesium and potassium which is needed to help the calcium be absorbed by the bones. It really works...that and just good old fashioned time.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but feet heal extremely slow because of lack of circulation. Saying that, my broken foot from last september healed in about 8 weeks. Nothing you can take that will really help. The only thing that helps is staying off of it.
