Hey Charlie, first thing you may want to do is shorten up your rope a bit if that's possible, not a lot, just to about 65'.
As for clearing the wake, make sure you have a good progressive edge coming up the wake. At the top of the wake stand tall, don't jump, just stand tall and look at the other wake to spot your landing. When you see the water, get your chin up to the horizon and look at where you will be going. Keep the handle at your hips, sometimes it helps to even push the handle down some, this will keep you on balance.
Handle passes, the key to a good solid handle pass is keeping the handle right at the small of your back for a 360 or at your hip. When you keep the handle in close, there is less guessing where the handle is, and its much easier to get it. Handle passes really just come with time and experience with where you personally put the handle when you pass it.
There are lots of grabs out there. The easiest one other than the indy is the tail grab. Once you get air, just let go with your back hand, bend your knees so that the board is as close to you as it can get, and grab the tail of the board. Make sure you keep your head up, don't look at the board, its still there. Another fairly easy grab is a nose grab. On this one you really have to keep the rope at your hip or you will get pulled around 180. When you get the pop, let go with your front hand and again, bring the board to your hand, don't bend over to find the board.
Hope this helps, if you have any questions feel free to email me. Thelandroid@ya hoo.com
Later
Tiffanator
www.ladyboarder.com
