I'm hoping someone will take five minutes and get a new rookie off the ground with this wakeboarding thing. I need to gear up and don't have the first idea how to even size a board. Does anyone have a recommendation on a board that can be used by beginners and intermediates? How about boots? It was recommended to me that the Hyperlite Belmont would fit the bill, so I bought the Belmont boots before I realized I didn't know what I was doing.

if you post the weights of everyone who will be riding the board, i'm sure you will get lots of suggestions, as sizing is mostly based on weight.

Go to your local pro shop and tell them what you want if their worth their salt you should have no problems.
