Surf Series Swim Platform

Is anyone running the Sanger Surf Series Swim Platform on a Wake Series V215? Curious as if there is any benifit at all for addtional wave shapping. It seems as the standard one interupts some possibilities while running addtional ballast.

TIA

I am not running the surf series swim deck on my Sanger V215 but I did the design on the surf series swim deck. I don't get much disruption from the teak swim deck on my boat. the surf series is a fiberglas deck. I don't think it makes much difference, as the wake is great either way. With the surf series swim deck on the v237 makes a great wake without any deck impact at all.

Thats awesome that you designed it!

While running with the OEM hard tank full and 800 +/- addtional pounds of ballast, the deck seems to be buried and I always wondered what it would be like with the Surf Series. Well if there is no benifit to the wake than I suppose no change is needed.

I am not saying that there is no benefit. I am saying that the wake is great either way. It is cleaner without the interference but it is pretty good either way.

are you running the front tank full as well.

Understood. Yes front tank full, rear tank full "surf side" that is and 800 lbs of lead. Its not a bad wake at all, just looking to make the best of it. Im reading some threads with the OEM tanks removed and 1,100 lb sacks installed and I have not found anyone talking about the standard deck.

I think that the swim deck has not really been an issue on the Sangers so that is why no one talks about it.
With your setup your wake should be pretty darn good. It is similar to my "summer" setup. I run a little more during the off months.

Yes the wake is good and thanks for your input.
