thinking of making a winch out of a mini bike. Does anyone think it is possible? it has a 97cc motor (not sure of the h.p.) I think it might work if I customize it. It has a disk brake and a auto clutch. Just wanted to know if the mechanical parts will work for a winch set up??

cool, I think I can pull it off. I can get a new mini bike for 200 dollars, couple more in parts and I can have a custom mini bike winch, just wondering if it will have enough pull to get the rider going fast enough. Do you know what H.P. the winch's they sell for are running?

I have an xr50 turned into a murdered out pit bike. Its been bored to an 82cc, thats enough? and does anyone do this and still use the bike? Like detach it from the frame?
