I discovered that the lead going from the cap to the coil was completely shot and the only thing holding it together was the rubber boot.

Does anyone have a automotive cross over for this engine for plug wires? I tried to get a sierra one from some local shops, non in stock and dont want to lose a weekend! The sierra # I found was 18-8834-1, is this correct? It has the thunderbolt distributor cap.

I guess if it comes down to it, I could trim back the wire and re-attach the terminal.....

Not sure if you already figured this out but I've never found a cross on these. Call up skidim and they might know or can get you some fast. if you find a cross let me know

NAPA might cross parts!

Does you distributor cap look like the one below? If so, get a 1999-2000 Cadillac Escalade wire set.
