Well, I was getting sick of the stock, crappy system in my runabout so I installed a new system. Its now got a sony head unit, soundstream 720.4 amp, Polk 6501 component speakers and an 8" polk momo sub under the seat in a sealed enlosure. Granted its not going to win any stereo contests, but it sounds great. I may add an additional set of 6.5" speakers up front. Thought I might share the pictures. Its a 2007 Vectra 182 (same exact boat as a starcraft 1800). The amp is mounted up front under the seat. I have a Polk Subwoofer grill cover on the way to protect it. Now I have to get going on my Fly Hi pro X tower install before winter. Very clean, me likes!! <BR> <BR>Quick Q: Are those the stock speaker locations or did you just mount them there? If not it might sound better with the tweeter closer to the mid, they shouldn't be far apart. Otherwise a thumbs up!
