Rental?

Purchase?

Or just day use?

sunset ranch is o.k. at best for wakeboarding. short and really shallow.
I did have a blast while I was there though.
|
just a lake. No need to rent, purchase...
|
$500/day for a launch permit??? really? People pay that?

Colorado River is 100 miles away but worth checking out. I was a member at Sunset Ranch for 3 years it was originally a private ski site.... and thomas's description is on the nose.
Another ski site is Imperial Lakes, not too far away. Best time of year for the desert.

Colorado River, Elsinore are the two closest public, non expensive bodies of water....both within two hours of Palm Springs.

Shadow Lake (Indio) is private and you have to own or be with owners to ride there......and it is one of the best private lake communities out there.

Sunset Ranch is best for week long or weekend stays. The house can accommodate many many people and the trip would be similar to a houseboat.....but it is rather expensive. The lakes are VERY shallow...probably only 5 feet at the deepest points....

I live in the PS area and unless I get a rare lucky pull at Shadow Lake, we usually ride the River or Elsinore. Hit me up if you feel like it 760.275.4073.

We were out there last March and hit up Elsinore, it was pretty dead that time of year so that was pretty fantastic other than the wind that day.
