Does the Ronix sintered base weigh more?
 

Trying to decide if I want the sintered base or not.

i would think it wouldnt matter that much. the bill comes stock like that and that thing is fun

I asked Danny Harf this question at a boat show. He said that the sintered base was heavier, but that the weight difference was so slight that it was unnoticeable.

its not really noticeable. IMO the sintered base is a little faster. Has a little different feel that I prefer. Plus its more durable. I personally can't see too much point in not getting the sintered.

The board rides looser with the sintered base too.

Was it the base or the .8" fins instead of the 1" fins?
