i used to think my wake was pretty adequate, but i finally got a chance to ride behind a SAN (2002) this past week. Let me tell you, that wake with like 4 people in the boat, the factory rear ballast (900) and a locker sac (450) rocked. It felt so much more solid, better formation once i got used to it, and of course huge in comparison to our ProStars wake.

we currently have a 500lbs sac in place of the rear seat, but w/ 5 people in the boat its not even close to enough for me anymore. Will more weight help out substantially, or is it time to bite the bullet and tell dad that a purpose built wakeboard boat should be on our horizon?

Throw in a couple more. You will never get a SAN wake out of it no matter what you do.

We used to run two sacs either side of the engine cover just slighty towards the rear (sideways). That produced a good wake.

For a even better wake, we'd move the sacs further back and put a third one up front in walk thru.

That hull makes a nice wake, just load the boat up.
