I use those rubber coated hooks you can buy at Lowe's or Home Depot... They are cheap and work well... Another option for more support, although a bit more costly are the ladder hangers you can also buy... They are covered with a pipe insulation material...

tings00 05-11-2006 11:26 AM

what bindings are you gonna use on the roam

breadbutta 05-11-2006 11:27 AM

Advice? Yes, send me the Roam and the Wake surfboard! OK, the Parks, too.

ghostrider_2 05-11-2006 11:28 AM

Home Depot, 4.99 each, each one is set in the wall with 3 screws and each one hold one board.

I've seen the same ones from homedepot sell on the net for close to 50 bucks each, dont be a sucker.

mplv 05-11-2006 11:46 AM

kenny, can you find a pic of what your talking about.

i rode the roam with my transits and didnt like it ,that krown board on the far left is far more fun without fins that the roam is imo. im probably going to sell the roam

toby_yeo 05-11-2006 11:50 AM

someone has plenty of money to spare...

ghostrider_2 05-11-2006 11:53 AM

when I get home tonight I will take a pic of my garage wall with the boards for you. its not on the home depot web site.

breadbutta 05-11-2006 11:55 AM

** Hijack **

MPLV, Why didn't you like the Roam? How do you like the Parks?

** End Hijack **

ghostrider_2 05-11-2006 11:55 AM

rocky racks is a rip off they are just like the ones from home depot, they have both connected and none connected racks, I would avoid rocky racks at all cost!!

mplv 05-11-2006 11:55 AM

well the 2 on the left belong to friends, but since i own the boat they leave em here, the motive is the boats board, watson is mine, diva was the gf's xmas present. i told her it was an ironing board, had to beg her to open it. everyone loves to surf and the roam i bought one day because i was bored but im prolly selling it

mplv 05-11-2006 11:58 AM

the roam: with size 14 feet and magnum bindings the board just feels strange, when i edge my toes are in the water and it just seems like a yardsale waiting to happen.

i dont have a parks, except for my middle name. the black board i think your talking about is an 06 142 watson

tings00 05-11-2006 12:40 PM

how much is the roam for sale

will5150 05-11-2006 12:44 PM

Here is the rack that my Dad made. It's similar to ones in a shop with just wooden dowls to seperate the boards. Plus this link might help
http://www.wakeworld.com/MB/Discus/messages/65921/203414.html

(Message edited by ldr on May 11, 2006)

(Message edited by ldr on May 11, 2006)

nautique_04_226 05-11-2006 2:24 PM

This rack is 15 years old it was made for knee boards that is why the spacing is off for wakeboards.

mplv 05-11-2006 4:28 PM

i actually just got back from lowes and bought some of those bike racks from the end of that thread

buzz_grande 05-11-2006 4:29 PM

I don't have a pic with me at work, but mine are like Freds, except mine go from floor to ceiling, and I have 2 sets. I have way too many boards. Total cost probably under $20.

sjmedic 05-11-2006 6:43 PM

Just let me know how many you need, they hold 4 or 8 boards each, depending on whether you want them back to back or only in a row. $50 each.

I used standard hangers from Home Depot. They are used to hang bikes and tools, they work great. They have padding on the hangers to protect the boards.

$50 for two nylon straps?????

ghostrider_2 05-12-2006 3:56 PM

Sorry about the delay but here is a pic.
remember 4.99 at home depot.

denjoe 05-12-2006 3:57 PM

I used the same ones as Kenny. They work great!

ladythump 05-12-2006 9:50 PM
