I have a hard time understanding Sanger prices, the last boat show in Febuary a brand new V210 with wake series 1 was 32,999? So why would someone offer 32k for a 03? Im looking into a sanger for my next boat and I have seen v210 that are a couple years old in the mid 30's? Is there something that im missing?

My guess would be that there aren't that many around to start with so people can get a little more for them.

I looked for a long time to find one that was priced right (22k) and wasn't beat up.

Thats a beautiful boat! Ive been doing a ton of searching, there are good deals out there just have to find them. Last week in SO Cal, there was a 04 with 35 hours on it without a tower going for 24k

sangerlover 06-05-2006 8:49 AM

32,999? is not out the door with tax. Last year I believe I had seen a few dealers offering in the range of 38-39k out the door cost. Also, a used boat could have a 2k-5k in add on accessories already. I would agree that Sanger prices are a little strange. Back in 03 I was looking at a stock 01 v210 and the guy was asking 29k and I think he got what he was asking.

sangerlover 06-05-2006 8:53 AM

04 with 35 hours only 24k ? If it was in good shape that would of been a steal. I agree with Walt about there not being many used Sangers available and that could be the reason the used prices are up so high.

Here is what your up against when trying to find a nice used Sanger.

http://adcache.boattraderonline.com/6/1/6/84347916.htm

Well 32,999 plus tax its is mid 35's this was at the boat show and they were selling them for that. I understand supply and demand but selling a used boat for more then a new one is crazy. The 04 was in perfect condition and sold in a week.

wake_upppp 06-06-2006 9:54 PM

32,999 is what they tell you but by the time you add in the trailer and sales tax, and any add-ons, you're up around 39 to 40k. NADA guide for an 05' V210 is around 35k. Remember too that Sanger only makes 400 or so boats a year no matter how many orders their are, and they have a very loyal following. Like someone said earlier, supply and demand.
