Malibu XTI hard start
 

So I have never had any problems with starting my boat until this last weekend. I put the trailer in the water and tried to crank the boat and it turns over and kicks off and then immediately dies. So I try and crank it again and it just turns over. After a good five minutes I finally get it cranked and it runs rough for at least ten minutes and it was fine after that killed it a few times and it cranked right back up. The next day same routine. So anybody have any ideas as to what it could be I have not looked into it any yet I plan to tomorrow night just looking for some suggestions on things to look into. It has me stumped right now since it runs fine once it is warmed up. O yeah it has an indmar engine the boat is a 2002 or 2003 cant remember.

fuel filter or bad gas?

Thats what i thought but it ran fine after it warmend up I figured if it was the fuel filter it would have continued to run bad.... guess that is a good place to start tho.
