Hank jr.
Many people only see the story fox put out. But I had the chance last night to sit down with the man himself and talk about it last night at a friends hunting cabin. In fact Hank said he didn't even go on the show to talk about politics. He was on the show to promote 16 tracks that nobody had a clue about until now! Fox kept wanting to get on politics and when they did he responded, then fox turned it all around! Hank released a new song "Keep the change" that's free to download for two days. He said he will no longer allow the NFL to use his Monday night football song. Tuesday he is on the view. Be watching for his NFL jacket and something very cool at the end of his part with them :)

Interesting. I just thought it was pathetic that ESPN made it such big news. I wouldn't have heard about what he said, except ESPN started doing coverage on themselves, and blowing it up on half of their shows. It seems they were just waiting to get rid of him, waiting him out to take one slight mis-step.

He will have the last laugh when it's all said and done. He lives here in Paris, just a small town in northwest Tn. Because everyone here treats him just like a normal person. His daughter went to public schools as well as his son still does. All around great guy and can tell some hella stories haha

Go to YouTube and search keep the change lol he pretty much tells the gov. FOX and NFL to kiss his arse lol

Oh and in my first post, the sixteen tracks were unheard tracks of his FATHERS so obviously this hurt his feelings cause when they flipped it around he didn't even get to talk about the music....also be looking for he and kid rock to be doing a tour together soon :) called"The Polittically Correct Tour" haha I hope I spelled it right

I want to go hunt where you hunt!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Personally, I think they blew that whole thing out of proportion, but I didn't read a whole lot about it. Didn't he just compare Obama and Boehner hanging out together like Hitler and the Israeli leader hanging out together?
|
^Sort of. From what I gather, if he would have left it there, he'd probably still be singing "Are you ready for some football". But, he then went on further to elaborate and call Obama the enemy. I mean asking Bocephus about politics is akin to talking to Casey Anthony about child care. What were they expecting to hear?

The interview was a set up and the media can rejoice joyously that it created a something out of nothing:-- a 'something' story which sells advertising and programming.
Regarding Bocephus:-- See this thread and search by "Find" for, 'Bocephus' http://www.wakeworld.com/forum/showthread.php?t=753046 Then search these threads and see his posts under his new incarnation,'Sam Ingram' http://www.wakeworld.com/forum/showthread.php?t=790115 http://www.wakeworld.com/forum/showt...509&page=99999 In the past, I have experienced the wrath of Bocephus. Long ago, Bocephus pounced on some mundane post of mine. He attacked over and over with his trademark style of (1) attacking with rigid views of who knows exactly what is correct, without debate (that who being, himself), and (2) attacking the person (me in this instance) -- as being too un-intelligent, too un-informed and/or otherwise too un-worthy to debate with the lofty Bocephus. It left me wondering, what bugs this ill-tempered guy? But now it seems to me, IMO, he had a pardonable excuse for his ill-temper. |
