My husband is a bit bigger than you and he rides a 134 Belmont. Thinking of getting him a 136 3DS though.

i weigh 145 and ride a 140, i think bigger boards are better because it gives you a bigger surface area to land on!

I was just in the same dilema as you and i finaly had to get a different board after riding the 140 for about 3 seasons because i just wasnt able to do much on that board, so i went with a 135 cwb flame package which so far has been a great board for me.

My first set up I rode I was in a similar situation. The board worked for me, however switching to an updated board, that was a bit smaller, 138 vs 140 (granted I weighed an extra 20 lbs) made an impact on my riding.

Bryce...why weren't you able to do much on that board? what was your problem? i have no problems with my 140..spins and flips seem easier to land for the reason stated above!

Matt, i just wasnt able to keep control of it while i was trying to get the w2w down, and i had tried my friends shorter boards and it just seemed like i had much more contorl over the board, which is usually a good thing. The 141 was just to much board for me to handle.

Yo, I wouldn't be so worried about size as much as I'd be worried about getting a decent board. If it is in fact a no-name brand I'd look into getting something between 135-138 in a board that is a proven shape. Shape should make more differenc than size.
