First day on the lake with the little guy. Had to wait for his lifevest to come in. Thanks again to somebody who posted about this stern lifevest on here. Was the best one we could find and he seemed to like it. Had a little bit of a diaper castastrophe at the beginning but it was smooth sailing after that.

(Message edited by bjeremi on August 24, 2009)

(Message edited by bjeremi on August 24, 2009)

(Message edited by bjeremi on August 24, 2009)

(Message edited by bjeremi on August 24, 2009)

Little mans sleeping in the last pic? It always amazed me watching my kids fall asleep on the cushions while the boat was bouncing around. They can sleep anywhere.

bjeremi 08-24-2009 7:03 PM

yup snoozing away.

rio_sanger 08-24-2009 7:15 PM

Brings back many good memories Brenner, our two boys grew up in the boat, sleeping under the dash or passenger footwell. Seems like the rougher the water, the better they sleep! Good times ahead for you.

tcaz 08-24-2009 7:31 PM

How awesome. Congrats to you and your family.

nuckledragger 08-24-2009 7:38 PM

A good fitting life vest is so key to their happiness, I remember those days. They are happy until the chop really kicks in. Now my daughter wants to spend more time in the water than on the boat.

Nice trunks by the way. I think I recognize that pattern!!!!

bjeremi 08-24-2009 8:18 PM

Oh yeah! CIRE is pretty much the only way to go when your 6'3"

It took a while to find that stearn life vest. I guess there aren't to many life vests out there for the 4 week babies.

(Message edited by bjeremi on August 24, 2009)

Where did you find yours? I saw them at Wal-Mart the week before my daughter was born should have grabbed one then but my wife said to wait till after she was born now they are out and have no idea what I am talking about when I ask them. Didn't see them on Stern's website either. We have one that works but she is not the happiest girl when she has it on can't say I blame her. Congrats to you and your family we had our's on July 20th and she has been on the boat almost everyday since we got out of the hospital.

bjeremi 08-25-2009 11:08 AM

Yeah we had to find it on Ebay. It really was the best one we could find beside some silly net looking one from a Canadian company for like $70. Only cost $10 on ebay and was new with tags.

(Message edited by bjeremi on August 25, 2009)

Congrats man...so cool. My daughter is 7 months now and simply loves the water. Took her out yesterday and when she saw the boat she got all excited Makes a dad proud!

nuckledragger 09-01-2009 9:25 PM

Nice J!!! I need to get some going for the little man.

bjeremi 09-01-2009 9:34 PM

THAT! I would pay some good money for. Probably would need them sized for next season though the way these little buggers grow LOL.

dtb 09-02-2009 10:35 AM

J. Congrats. We've got a 5 week old son and I am axious to get him out in the boat but haven't been able to find a life jacket small enough yet. I'm gonna look for the one in your pics on ebay. Any more details?

dtb 09-02-2009 10:42 AM

Nevermind, just found one and bought it on ebay. Paid a little more than you but I expect it will be worth it. Congrats again, good lookin' kid.

bjeremi 09-02-2009 10:54 AM

Yeah I think we got a deal on ours but it's worth it if you had to spend a little more. Really good lifevest for an infant in my opinion.

nelson 09-02-2009 12:29 PM

Have to say it was a change having a kid with us on the boat but well worth it! We found one on ebay thanks for the advise on looking there J. Brenner

nelson 09-02-2009 3:54 PM

Thanks, She is getting the boat bug, big smiles when we head down to the boat.

splatman 09-02-2009 3:56 PM

lol eric I thought you meant you bought a kid on ebay for a second...

bjeremi 09-02-2009 4:02 PM

LOL!

radikal 09-02-2009 6:56 PM

its not dangerous to bring a baby on a boat at this young age ?

bjeremi 09-02-2009 7:40 PM

Pediatrician said we were good to go. I mean we not exactly hitting double ups or anything so I wouldn't see the ride being any rougher than an automobile.

radikal 09-02-2009 7:48 PM

yeah so you just be careful, dont hit rollers, or you slow the speed, dont put the music too loud and at least dont drink too much ! :p

clay_fraley 09-02-2009 10:36 PM

thats awesome! we had my little brother out pretty young too, now he's 8 and will wakeboard until you eventually have to make him stop so someone else can go, haha. I think most of the time if you start them that young they grow up to love it

dlwsrider 09-03-2009 2:42 PM

"he's 8 and will wakeboard until you eventually have to make him stop so someone else can go, haha"

Understatement, haha
