New cable setup
Any suggestions for a new cable board/setup?
Any brands other than LF, hyperlite, byerly and CWB. |
I am looking for a new cable board as well. Anyone ridden the Ronix District Park? How does it compare to the El Von Viddle Schnook?
Vampire boards are supposed to be the dog's danglies, not sure if they have a distributor in the US though
Jobe Conflict. Best board for the cable that I've ridden.
CTRL Hustle. Been riding one since 2012 and as soon as I wear it out (the fact that I haven't after 2 years of riding speaks to the quality of the product), I'll be ordering another one.
That Hustle sure held up a lot better than my CTRL RX. Wore it down to the core in only 4 months.

Anyone tried the slingshot cable boards?
I heard the ctrl cable boards are sticky on rails |
Slingshot is known for there cable boards. Check them out. They flex a lot. Not sure about prices. Here is the link.

El von videl schnook, fast on rails, great for presses, lots of pop, big Ollies.
Im really between the elvon videl schnook , shredtown and the terrain.
Anyone tried the 2014 shredtown or terrain? |
I'm loving the Hyperlite Union. I've not been nice to it all season, you can hardly tell... Very strong board!
I'd suggest LF or Slingshot as they've been in the cable game the longest.
El Von videl schnook for sure. or liquid force super trip
I have a Slingshot Shredtown that I like. The flex feels good and the continuous rocker is fast for landings etc. Durability-wise, it has help up pretty well. I also like the fact the bottom is featureless. Nothing to get caught funny that way. When riding cable I hit features kickers etc, but don't do any air tricks, for reference.
