Here are some pics of my new toy! I'm working on extending the mounting surface for my new amps i'm putting in! <BR> <BR><img src="http://www.wakeworld.com/MB/Discus/messages/65921/423339.jpg" alt="Upload"> <BR><img src="http://www.wakeworld.com/MB/Discus/messages/65921/423340.jpg" alt="Upload"> <BR><img src="http://www.wakeworld.com/MB/Discus/messages/65921/423341.jpg" alt="Upload"> <BR><img src="http://www.wakeworld.com/MB/Discus/messages/65921/423342.jpg" alt="Upload">

Congrats and nice ride Ryan, keep posting up pics of that stereo install.

rrbooker 03-12-2007 8:32 AM

Thanks Kevin! I hape to have everything back together by the end of this week.

rrbooker 03-12-2007 3:20 PM

I might flip the amps on the bottom over so they aren't upside down! What do you guys think? I would like to be able to get to the controls, but once i get it set i guess it wouldn't matter. <BR> <BR><img src="http://www.wakeworld.com/MB/Discus/messages/65921/423484.jpg" alt="Upload"> <BR><img src="http://www.wakeworld.com/MB/Discus/messages/65921/423485.jpg" alt="Upload">

I'm so jealous it hurts. Beautiful ride, congrats! <BR> <BR>-Steve

Damn you have alot of amps there. That thing is gonna rock good job. Your going to want to show off a system like that, I'd turn them over for presentation sake.

xaggie 03-12-2007 4:38 PM

Nice, I never thought about extending that side. I just made a place to mount them against the hull, but I like your setup it's basicly the same as mine!

05mobiuslsv 03-12-2007 5:08 PM

I didn't notice you took a picture from both sides. I thought you had 6 amps there. I take it back LOL!

rrbooker 03-12-2007 5:10 PM

I'm going to move the amps up and flip them(bottom ones)! I think it will look better and it will help me hide the wires! Matt you have any pics of your install? if you don't want to post them just send them to my email. Thanks!!

xaggie 03-12-2007 5:17 PM

Finally got some pics of the beginning up but none of the complete setup till mid week. I ended up leaving the bottom ones flipped and the top amps right side up, just so my wireing would look cleaner. It's 2 1000/1's and 2 300/2's so it's like a mirror. The Black and White looks SHARP man!

azwakekid 03-12-2007 5:32 PM

i think you should have the amp mounted right side up so they can vent right and not over heat. just my.02

Hello Ryan, Very nice. Curious about the Sirius radio. Is that factory installed?

rrbooker 03-12-2007 6:57 PM

the sirius did come with the boat!

03-12-2007 7:36 PM

pimp boat. i love those colors and the graphic

I got Sirius from the factory on my 07'. The dealer gets a free month, and the first owner gets 6 months free.

grant_west 03-13-2007 8:59 AM

IMO Rodney P, Just gave you the best advice in this thread. Thoes amp's will over heat if you were to leave them in the position you had them in. It sounds like you are changing them, Thata Boy. I agree they would be much nicer to adjust in the upside down position. Mabey Next time JL will put the Adjustments on the front of the amp or on the side like on you Block Amp. looks good keep going.

how about this? <BR> <BR><img src="http://www.wakeworld.com/MB/Discus/messages/65921/423754.jpg" alt="Upload"> <BR><img src="http://www.wakeworld.com/MB/Discus/messages/65921/423755.jpg" alt="Upload">

Is that a ice chest above the amp's and a drain line at the right side. If so I would insulate the drain line so it won't condensate.

bullit4888 03-13-2007 6:18 PM

how did you mount the amps to the wall? what did you put under the carpet?

xaggie 03-13-2007 6:56 PM

If I may, Aaron thats the drain for the glove box. I assume they planned on having to drain massive amounts of water from there<img src="http://www.wakeworld.com/MB/Discus/clipart/uhoh.gif" border=0> <BR> <BR>Drew that area has a raised section of the fiberglass between it and the surface glass and pass through to the bow. The stock amps were screwed there, so I assumed it was safe to screw there as well.

bullit4888 03-13-2007 7:27 PM

Ok thanks. I'll look into that becuase i'm going to be adding another amp in the same spot ryan just did.

wakecat 03-13-2007 7:37 PM

Nice set up Ryan. Are you upgrading your alternator and or batteries?

rrbooker 03-14-2007 4:29 AM

I just bought a 2x12 board, and coated it! You'll have to space it out a little so that it is flush with the original panel. <BR> <BR>I don't think I'm going to be putting ice the the glove box! I have a 56qt cooler that will hold all my beer!<img src="http://www.wakeworld.com/MB/Discus/clipart/biggrin.gif" border=0> <BR> <BR>I'm still working on the batteries! I think i'm going to add one more blue top. All 3 will be in the same spot! <BR> <BR> <BR><img src="http://www.wakeworld.com/MB/Discus/messages/65921/424005.jpg" alt="Upload">
