When you ask about a RZR here people are thinking that you are talking about a Tige. Most folks here dont have Polaris Rzrs. Plus you put it in the boats section of the forum.
Try Wetsounds for your Polaris needs and skip the Pyle, meaning pileofcrap. I would go with a Syn Micro amp. |
I think you missed the part about the $300 budget and the speakers 6" from his ear. :)
Try Kicker KMT6 or even the MTX or Bazooka tower speakers for a cheap alternative. We did a couple KMT6 on some UTVs and it worked out pretty good. They are $225-250ish on ebay if I remember. Might have to up the budget a bit to get a decent amp to go along with it. Just because they are marine amps doesn't mean they can get wet, so it's important to try and mount somewhere that is going to be protected from the elements for when ripping through the mud. |
Polaris RZR forums are full of great ideas, applications ect... I have one and that forum is great. Has helped me out many times.

after several head units (from mud, water, and bouncing around), the best solution is an iPod. Unless your building a show RZR, but it doesn't sound like it from your budget.

does anyone know of an amp that I can plug an iPod into?
|
an ipod to rca cable would plug right into the input on the amp.

But check this out. Take a look at the Kicker PXi50.2 Its an Ipod specific controller that will power 1 pair of 2 ohm speakers like the PS525 or a 2 pair of 4 ohm speakers like the KM series. http://www.kicker.com/pxi502 Also check the Wet Sounds WS-VC PM3 socket with volume control knob. |
