How do you lower the line tension enough to pull the last 180 all the way around? Are you supposed to spin it off the wake?

Take a mellow edge to the wake. You almost want to drift. It's very important to wait the top of the wake because you want to go high and land wake to wake. <BR> <BR>Practice your scarecrow w2w with as much pop as possible. You will notice the difference of tension in your rope. You want to do your last 180 as late as possible. So when you've complete your scarecrow and see you have more time to complete the last 180, pull the handle hard with both hand. <BR> <BR>Hope it will help.

It seems like the faster I come in (more line tension) the more boot off the wake I get. When I drift in I don't get the height for the BS 180. Is theirr a secret to the pop?

Stand really tall at the wake, also you don't need alot of speed for a crow mobe, it's a really tricky cut at first but you'll get used to it, I don't cut from very far out and I think about standing straight up at the wake this gives the straight up pop and makes the handle pass easier to get. THE MAIN THING however that helped me more than any thing is right off the wake push the handle straight down, just like you're doing a tricep extension in the gym or something, this puts the rope in perfect position to make the handle pass. Also, when I do them I try not to think about doing a scarecrow with an extra 180 I try to spin the whole thing in one motion. A crowmobe is a trick that requires alot of finess and if it feels like you're having to muscle it around then you probably are either cutting too much through the wake and not standing tall enough at the wake or you're trying to do a normal scarecrow, spot the water and then yank it around (which is a good way to get slammed) a crowmobe really should be one smooth motion all the way around.
