Hello Wake World,
I am new to wake world and my friend referred this forum. I would say cool people, great posts.
Yesterday I saw a post asking for RV advice. Dude- don't go for cheaper ones. Make sure engine is in great shape. Pay to a brand specialist certified mechanic to inspect the vehicle before you make any offer. I always do and have never regretted buying used vehicles.

Take a look at my rig.:) I love it. Best I could find on the market. Guys who make'em are the coolest people around as far as I know.
In case you want to see more pictures:

Are you saying that only rich people can have RV's? Or that only an expensive RV will work? IMO, that is poor advice, an RV should be for having fun, not worrying about because you have your life savings invested in it. There is NO reason to spend your kids college funds on an RV that most people are going to use a couple weekends a year.

Nice plug on your website too..

rvfun 09-30-2010 9:16 AM

I did not mean that.

Hello Samlngram,

I did not mean what you are saying. My advice was for full time RVeers. I have seen people stranded along the road because of poor choice of vehicles. Its good to invest little more to start with than spending every now and then and worrying about it all the time.
By the way, that is not my website, let me take down the link if have any problem with that.
Cheers:)

I couldn't decide which one to use.... I love them both equally...

Thats exactly what he's. RV's are for rich folk

Yea the plug is always a bad idea but the advise is not. Check out your used wake boat carefully as well unless your spending 70 to 100 large for something new..

So turns out the aluminum wake boat manufacturer mentioned in this thread: http://www.wakeworld.com/forum/showthread.php?t=783896

and the author of this thread have a few things in common - including the same contact number: 541-778-0585. Hmm?

mc_x15 09-30-2010 12:07 PM

Cant get anything past wakeworlder's. haha.

mike3500 09-30-2010 12:17 PM

I dont get what RV'ers and his rig have in common, other than maybe he can pull a 5th wheeler. What am I missing? Why do RV'ers give a crap about his rig??

TOOL!

mattgettel 09-30-2010 12:30 PM

i think that he is saying that you can sleep in one of the boxes. nothing says home like diamond plate!

Mike,
You are confused, this thread is not for "RV'ers", it was directed to RVeers...

factorykitted 09-30-2010 12:46 PM

so you guys are going to bash this guy on one of his first posts to the forum? sure it's a plug, (and yes that is dumb of you rvfun) but come on guys calling him a tool and bashing on him because he's got some coin is just ridiculous.

Has wakeworld turned into a bunch of high school girls??

Edit: plus he said he would take down the website if he needed to.

LOL... "and bashing on him because he's got some coin is just ridiculous."

See here and here!

Brandon, the Highway products main page talks about building aluminum boats and the two are the same business. The aluminum wake boat page was posted by a regular on here so it's not quite as contrived as it might appear.
Personally, I'm not a big fan of 5th wheels and I would get a motorhome ahead of one for RVing.

Oh, and AP, that first picture reminds me of my son so I've copied it. Thanks.

duffymahoney 09-30-2010 2:46 PM

I posted the aluminum boat thread. I have nothing to do with either this RV tow rig or the aluminum boat. I have always thought an aluminum boat would be awesome:)

Hey a little love for the 5th wheelers who love to take the boat with them.

That being said - PAY TO BE A VENDER ON THIS SITE AND YOU MAY GET BETTER RESULTS - see Dave.

mike3500 09-30-2010 4:05 PM

Sam- Thanks for the clarification.
Bryan- I love the set-up brother!

09-30-2010 5:25 PM

IMO, you are talking about a camper, not an RV. also, while that truck is cool, it is not at all needed for a 5th wheel. if you want to plug a company just do it. nothing shameful about it.
