Whats the pros and cons of carbon i know this has been brought up several times but im in the process of looking for a new handle... i dont want to spend to much on one though but i want to know if making the investment for that carbon handle is really worth it or if its just all hype

Its all about what you like. Some riders like the carbon some riders dont. Do you have a shop that will let you demo handles? IMO thats youre best bet, ride with a carbon and see what you think. I like the new 06 Proline Delta 17" handle it is the sickest handle Ive seen.

How does the carbon feel differnt then the other non carbon handles?
|
my vote is non carbon.

I am with Tim, I started a thread on this awhile back after a seeing a cracked rib, a bump on my head, and having it contribute to breaking/seperating my ribs.

Those are pretty sweet
|
no really? haha
|
i love my byerly handle. there's enough floatation, don't listen to the naysayers.

the new shane and watson handles are pretty sweet too.

I don't mind a carbon handle, I can't really tell too much difference. I couldn't justify the extra cash for it.
|
those new handles aren't buying you anything over an older one other than aesthetics. I'll still stick with my 8 year old $30 barefoot slalom wakes handle thank you.
|
I was about to buy a new handle after I towed my boat to the dealer for winterization. Im glad I didn't, those look like a definite buy.
