Im wondering how consistant and how well it pops off the wake? I just recently started to ride boat, ive ridden cable for almost 2 seasons and the Arcade By Bill isnt really favoring the boat side of my riding. I have some basic inverts on the boat so far but I cant get the height that i want because i feel like that board isnt advanced enough for the tricks i want to throw... Any info on the Viva would be appreciated and if you have any other Ronix boards that have good pop on your mind let me know.....

I know you ride cable a lot, and more of your problems are probably coming from the fundementals of switching disciplines rather than the board. Work with the pop off the wake for a while, and then try a new board if that doesn't work.

We occasionally break out older boards, and I can still hit a tanny to Blind on some OOOOLLLLDDD technology, haha.

Yeah, I hate to say it but the pop isnt there due to technique. That being said there might be a board out there to help you further your technique for sure. Get your progressive edge down really good. Do you get a lot of pop on load based tricks like backrolls? If not, you might want to try and build your progressive edge more and more rather than setting an edge and flicking the board like on cable. Im no expert but I could definately see that as an issue when going from cable to boat.

and I just saw in your profile you have a slingshot, that thing will make you learn a progressive edge for sure. If you dont get pop on a slingshot its almost certainly an edging issue
