Oroville polar bear day

Wow what a great event put on by the Wake 9 crew and California Marine Sports. We ("Ski Supreme") had a great time meeting some of the inland surfing souls of the world and sharing our wave with some great people. The weather couldn't have been better and we had the lake (pure butter by the way) all to ourselves. So again Thanks to Wake 9 and CMS for having us there and to all the participants from near and far that joined in for being there and we hope to Ski Ya again Soon.

Charlie!
Really enjoyed riding on/behind the Supreme! Great boat and great wave!
I landed my first 360 behind this boat on a walker project signature board. The Supreme instantly went on my short list for boat shopping. Thanks for the great driving and your overall enthusiasm about your boat and the event!

Very good to meet you last weekend Charlie!!! Thanks for the tow!... I was very impressed with the Supreme wave. Hope to see you next year.

To the Ski Supreme Corporate Honchos..... Charlie was AWESOME, X2 on the Supreme wave. Boat felt huge for its length. Supreme should definitely get Charlie out there again. He represents the boat and the brand well.

I was in the last group with Charlie and the dude still had tons of energy after going all day Saturday and Sunday.

Thanks again Charlie,
Steve (goofy boat group4)

Thanks for the kind words . Without you guys the participants this event wouldn't happen so the thanks goes to all of you who traveled so far to ride our wave.

You should totally make a 24 foot version of the supreme v226! Just saying:)

surferman85 10-22-2012 10:45 AM

Duffy, Thanks for the feedback, and we agree the next boat we are working will be bigger and with more ballast options. Keep the ideas coming!!!

malibu 10-22-2012 11:00 AM

I loved riding your wave Charlie! The shape and height of it was awesome. It was amazing how big it was coming from a 22' 6" boat. I was lucky enough to get to ride your Supreme on Sat. and Rob's on Sunday.

Yep I would also like to see the next v226 with more ballast options. The wave was very nice charlie I always enjoy surfing the v226. Thanks for the tow.

Loved the 226 wave Charlie! thanks! IMO it was the best wave of the event! Tige Z3 came in a close second! Can't wait for the WCO!

This is Rob and Janelle's V226 on Friday afternoon before the PB....This should look familiar to most...the wake was so dialed in that we started doing our own stunts..

Now that would be pretty cool to see!!!
Gotta have a TON (or two... literally) more room for ballast... but I bet it would be INSANE!

BenHolloway 10-23-2012 9:03 AM

Rob and Janelle's 226 was dialed. I liked the supreme on saturday but their boat sold me on the supreme wave.

tonyv420 10-23-2012 9:52 AM

Robs was a bit more dialed........Just didn't want to say that the replacement for the Sanger ( Robs 226) had the best wave of the weekend...LOL

Rob17 10-23-2012 11:26 PM

Ah man you guys are making my eyes water. Thanks for all the kind words. We have had great luck with the 226 I love it. It continues to bring smiles to our family and I am glad to hear it may have done that to others. That is what it is for! Even around buoys.......

motogod77 10-24-2012 9:23 AM

Our v226's have an optional plug-n-play ballast option available . . . . . over 3K lbs on switches with the option to add more. It works perfect, now working on a "quick switch" system for those wanting to ride regular and goofy frequently . . . . Should be able to switch from side to side in just a few minutes!

tonyv420 10-24-2012 11:44 AM

Your welcome Rob! The wave was awesome!! See ya at the WCO in June! Your enthusiasm on the boat was a pleasure also!! Thanks again for making it so enjoyable!

kimper 10-24-2012 5:42 PM

Damn! I wish I had gotten on that wave! Is that Squid in the photo?
Is that a "No Wake" buoy? If so that rules!

Squid 10-25-2012 2:16 AM

Kemper, yes thats me and the buoy kicked my ass and robbed me of glory...lol

surferman85 11-05-2012 2:36 PM

Great photo Squid. I heard you all talking about the attack bouy and now it all makes sense. Looking forward to Skiing you all at the WCO
