RGB Pucks?
Hey has anyone seen or has a lead on some surface mounted RGB Led lights.
Somthing like a traditional LED step light BUT a RGB version. I know I could make some but I don't have the time to be Fab'ing somthing up this late in the year. Looking for a over the counter solution. Somthing like this is a RGB version http://www.homeglowled.com/product_i...9945/s3245.jpg I have seen some RGB pucks but they don't look like a finished product that you can surface mount. They look raw and need some sort of cover. |

Thoes lights say RGB but they are not the RGB your thinking of. Thoes ones dont change color. They are a simple 2 wire hook up power and ground.

a buddy just did a full kit from xkglow on his cal air. turned out pretty cool, and it very inexpensive.
we were surprised by the quality of the product based on the price. maybe check their site and see if anything lines up with what you're looking for. here's his little vid review he did http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cM3lDCtzFIY |
They have some Pucks that might work. Bad thing about thoes is they are all made to be chained together and the wires exit out the side and not the back. The Style looks like what I need but I think I need a somthing a bit more professional I cant be running wires out the side where they can be seen ect. Thanks for the link.

Don't think thats quite what I'd do on my boat with the exposed wires and all but it's definitly going on my golf cart :)

I actually used that same xkglow kit on my boat, they worked out great. I purchased a second set for the golf cart, I need to get a video of that.

I've been trying to find something as well that has the wires exiting out the rear... Haven't had any luck yet though.

Hey Grant what about the pods on their site ? It is kind of hard to tell where the wires exit but it appears to be out the back ?

Those exit out the sides too.

Hate is correct. I did find these RGB step lights but the downside to these IS I have to drill a pretty big hole in the boat where ever they go. I dont want to do that. If these were flush mount it would work great

sorry here is the pic

Have you had any luck finding anything that doesn't require a huge hole? I've been searching for days now and haven't found anything suitable.
