I ride the 140 shane and love it. I was done trying new boards, but yesterday I rode my buddies Axis and now I am considering a change. To my surprise it tracks very well and has as much if not more pop than the shane. Its a tad loose, which is good for sliders and surface tricks. Any feedback on what i should do?

interresting you asked this because i ride a shane and im pretty stoked on the axis but i havent ridden it yet so i dont know if i will be switching. which do you like better, pros, cons?

I was doubting between those 2 a couple of months ago. Test ride multiple boards, but really liked these 2. Eventually went with the Shane because it was a little bit less lose. The pop was about the same, the tracking was a bit sharper on the Shane.

I agree with Tom. The shane tracks a little bit better, but I like how the axis is a little looser, make surface 360s a breeze. I think im just going to buy the axis and have them both. Problem solved!

I just bought the Axis. I was riding the Subjekt before. I have nothing but good things to say about the Axis. The pop on this board is killer and I really like the loose feel.

I rode a shane last year but this year i got the Axis and i'm well happy with it. i find i can get alot futher into the flats with it. Which is nice!!!

I just rode my 2007 Shane with Ronix Cell bindings and love it. I was taking it easy because of a recent mouth surgery and the doc scared the hell out of me with the bill.. I rather not pay for that twice. But it tracked awesome, had great pop, and I never once felt loose or out of control. I ride the 136.
