soulcraft repair question

Hi,

I found a soulcraft jetty used for $350. The gotcha is the board had a crack and was sent back to Jeff @ soulcraft for repair. Apparently a surface crack, but the board had to be dried and hot coated.

Is this still a buy, or should I be concerned?

Thanks,
John

It is a great buy, depending on condition. The assumption here is it was professionally fixed by Jeff, so no worries.
The larger question is it the right board for you, size wise, etc. But the fix shouldn't be a worry, as long as it is in pretty good condition over all.

Just wanted to follow up and say the board checked out, it's now in the quiver! It's light and fast as hell, very twitchy compared to my IS boards. Definitely takes some getting used to and pitches me off a lot, but I'm progressing on it.

Thanks to Jeff Wahlers for helping me out!

I am pretty sure you purchased "red magic" from my buddy chad?... one of my all time favorite boards. Take care of it... that board is MAGIC!!!

Yep that's the one! With the new translucent white top coat, I've taken to calling it "The Ghost of Red Magic" :D
