I have a hyperlite Broadcast 4'9" right now I'm riding it with the center fin removed. I can do 3's with the rope but I use the rope to help me break the fins lose. Should I remove the outside fins or do I just need to work on the way I spin more.

Thanks

P.S. I'm behind a super sport which needs alittle more ballast because the wake is kinda of small.

I find the Broadcast hard to spin. You might try filing down the outside fins or look for smaller fins.

I have the same board and I'd remove the outer fins, and shave a bit off the center fin. My new board that spins like a top has a 1" high fin. It still grabs well but no problem getting the board to spin.

put the shorter aluminum fins in all the slots. It should be easy enough to spin but grip when you need it.

Thanks, I think I got some Hyperlite 1.0" fins laying around. I just wasn't sure if they were the same bolt pattern.
