I am looking to replace my stock horn in my boat. I want something LOUD and compact. I found these train horns but way to expensive and way to large.

http://www.airhornsoftexas.com/Train_Air_Horns.html?gclid=CP23-8nyqpkCFRwpawod52YGpg

How about this?
http://www.wolo-mfg.com/air.htm

Any suggestions??

i have a hand-held air horn (uses some kind of gas) got it at sporting goods store i think. it's plenty loud plus you can aim it better.

problem with stock horns is that they're under the dash. you'll hear it more than anyone else.

put some air horns on the tower and get the wild turkey.

High Note
http://www.fiammamerica.com/Product.asp?ProductID=155

Low note
http://www.fiammamerica.com/Product.asp?ProductID=156

I carry these. They are 13.95 a piece plus shipping. It is a cheap and compact alternative.

I've been wanting to get an air horn too... Mainly just to scare the isht out of people...

for the price, I'd say the $50 one is going to be loud... It doesnt sound deep and loud like a train horn, but I'm sure it would get some attention...

I have no idea how you would mount that thing in my boat though.... If you figure out a way to mount it, post some pics up!!!

I found some train kits on e-bay under $200. I'm going to take some measurements in the boat to see where I can mount it.

Here it is:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=230328263863&c ategory=6763&viewitem=

Check out the Hella Dual Tone or two tone, anyway it's two disc horns that output 118 decibels.

Or there is this one. I don't stock it but could probably get it.

http://www.fiammamerica.com/Product.asp?ProductID=295

They actually make air hornes that do La cucaracha and dixie land and a couple other songs as well.

Here is another one that has a bunch of different sounds.

http://www.fiammamerica.com/Product.asp?ProductID=297

Do a search for Nathan Horn on ebay... loudest horn ever.... I don't think I would put it in my boat though...

Nathan Horn

They sell for big money, but every once in a while you will find them for really cheap on ebay. I got my from ebay for $50 plus shipping....

^^^^

A buddy of mine has one of those louder than a train types. He spent a couple thousand bucks on it, maybe more, but MAN!!!! is it loud. He says he has to move away from buildings to keep from blowing the glass out. It's a Buell brand i think.

Ok, so it's not exactly compact.
