Just curious how many are going to the rail event in Palm Beach in June? I saw the event here on wakeworld at the link below. Looks like it may be sick? Cash for the winners. <BR> <BR><a href="http://www.wakeworld.com/MB/Discus/messages/3320/571577.html?1208824133" target="_blank">http://www.wakeworld.com/MB/Discus/messages/3320/571577.html?1208824133</a>

I'd consider going, but I have not ridden enough lately to enter (esp for $75) and my attention span is short for watching contests. <BR> <BR>Why is the amateur entry fee the same as the pro, but the prize is 1/3 of the value?
id have to see what kind of rails they are building before i drop $75 for a rail jam
I'll probably go and check out the event but probably won't compete....looking forward to it.

Yeah, the rails are important. Maybe the price should be less? I think they would get alot of riders is the price was more like $45 amateur and $60 for the Pro divisions. Most other events I have seen cost $100+, the pro events are $225+. I am going to enter! Maybe I will be the only rider and automatically win!! (maybe the only way for me haha!)

I wanted to enter, but I've never really competed or hit rails, I've only gone off kickers. <BR> <BR>Since this is about south florida, they've got their own forum now. <a href="http://www.talkwake.com" target="_blank">www.talkwake.com</a> it's a south florida specific forum that just came out.
Not as big as this forum, but great for us here in south florida! The number of riders here is sick! Where are you from Dan? They are going to have a kicker in the contest as well.
Ya I know the forum has like 25 people on it or something. <BR> <BR>I'm up in Port St. Lucie, bout 45 min north of west palm.
i need to rephrase my statement, $75 would be expensive if the rails aren't good. If they have some sick rails, i will definitely compete
